WARNING! If you're intellectually incompetent, do not proceed.  NTELLIGENCE! The ability or capacity of mind, to understand principles, facts, truths, acquire knowledge and apply it to practice. Intelligence is inherently a trait or element of logic. An ability to be rational, considerate and JUST, even at the detriment of comfort to one's welfare. I came across a thread made of recent times by a Nigerian politician, elating of the greatness to women's intelligence. This isn't for a bash to the females purposely but to clear the dust of the playing field, unless I'm to be proven that GYNOCENTRISM runs through the veins of modernity, especially nairaland. A series of reactions to an OPINION cited by Amaechi sparked a convulsive tantrums concerning the aspirations of modern women's achievement in the world at large. Categorically, those arguments revolve around the following sects. #EDUCATION #EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE vs RATIONAL INTELLIGENCE. |

#EDUCATION Concerning of today's demographics shows a great and massive indulgence of women in academics. Women at large do surpass in population of men in academics, which is non debatable. Unless one's brilliance is retarded greatly to a point idiotic, is that women are much more great in numbers compared to men. Women do lead in academic excellence, no questions about that, especially humanities and are a force too in STEM. However citing this facts, one shouldn't be marinated with complacency to the brilliance of women in contrast to men, women do show an exceptional ability to a trait known and associated to computers, which is GIGO ( Garbage in, garbage out.). Men do possess the ability to internalize and pragmatically deduce facts and principles down to a level of individuality. Women, however not so much! Women even in the science field have to failed to portray such element of logic which truly defines INTELLIGENCE, they retain information "AS IT IS", scientifically women are more of a verbal beings. AS a result of a slightly smaller brain dimensions to that of men, for so, it's given to and favorably to excitation of neurons. In a bid for the emergence of women with great clarity to facts and principles in academics were a result of data retention of of already internalized, chewed and spewed facts from men, as such they greatly fail to transcend beyond that with they read. For men do need time to think, internalize, deduce and come to a desired and suitable conclusion with logic as a governing criteria, this trait had rendered men unable to keep up with women's ability to CRAM. AS it is said, VERILY, TO THINK ITS HARD AND TIME CONSUMING, AND SUCH OFTEN SLOWS ONE TO GATHER INFORMATION AT OPTIMAL SPEED. Argue all you want, but it's for this case that 88% inventors are still men, and these do affect with great improvement to civilization, but as for the women, it all begins and ends with bras, lingeries, and cosmetics because all they read about were ALREADY UTILIZED INVENTIONS. Question: How does such breakthroughs improves the living conditions of civilization  Women in STEM do scoot away after graduating from respective sects of jobs, this still leaving the dying minority to teach and never replenish, what about the STEMS continuity Such shall reveal a little of solipsism by women.1 Like |

#EMTIONAL INTELLIGENCE: Is the capability of individuals to recognize their own emotions and those of others, discern between different feelings and label them appropriately, use emotional information to guide thinking and behavior, and adjust emotions to adapt to environments. ~Wikipedia With this definition one would not care to marvel unto women's ability to survive extreme conditions (In biological sense) better than men. For a mind predestined to adjust to such an unfortunate conditions animalistically would do better, as they say, THE MIND IS A POWERFUL WEAPON. By having such an edge in contrast to men pertaining emotions, women do live in a comfort zone as it a trait with their nature, hence the struggle of men against emotional intelligence. Thus breeding for the need of the MISEDUCATIONS by UBUNJA. #RATIONAL INTELLIGENCE Defined by IQ, which encompasses visuospatial puzzles, math problems, pattern recognition, vocabulary questions and visual searches. Rationality is the result of critical thinking, which often includes unbiased reflection, goal-oriented skills, flexible insight, and real-world interaction. ~psychcentral This is a vastly known element in men, hence no need to be proven as it does speak volumes for itself. In this regard dealing with this particular sect of intelligence, women had no chance in contrast to men, need I not say much concerning this. It's self explanatory unless one is clouded by self importance. Reading through the last thread of an opinion made by amaechi rotimi, that women are overall more intelligent to men. I came across comments as such, below are few. #"The more I know of women, the more mysterious they seem to me"(m) #"women are cat like, for men, dog like" (f) #"......have you ever wonder about women's sensitivity to their surroundings with respect to their garments alignment on their body"(m) this exact comment bred the (f)'s. Explanation shall come forth by me, within the best of my ability. 1# You can't and couldn't aspire to which is beyond your capacity to knowledge. Mystery speaks of PERFECTION ( same reason why God is invisible, I hope), No human is perfect but thou hold women to such pedestal. You can't see, sorry. 3# for one whose importance revolves and rotates round below the belt ( citing the dynamic intersexually) why the need to sell a product without a thing value offered as exchange?? 2#Ye proceed to citing of Adam and eve, Samson& Delilah. SeekerofTruth1: I suggest you go do some research instead of relying on me to provide you with "Inventions, innovations or Scientific Discoveries that women have Made". If you got the data to post here, you must definite have the data for google, and hopefully the desire to educate yourself. As for your "don't think there was ever a time where Girls in General weren't Allowed to go to School", I can bet that if you dig deep into your own family history you find a time when the girls actually worked to pay for their male sibling's education. So don't just think up what you want to believe. Study your family history so you can actually know. |

In developed countries, female have started getting formal education right from the 70s, at least, that is long enough decades to be at per with men in term of achievement/developmental contributions......going by these attributes you allocated to them in your write up. I helped you narrow the discussion to creative ideas where formal education has little or no influence. I particularly is interested in the projection and propaganda that female leader would be better compare to male and statistics that conclude women superior intelligence and in what context...(there would be no war, women are fair with resources distribution etc) Nevertheless, many statistical model has portrayed women as more violent within the family unit (the smallest sovereign entity).....a case study of house help maltreatment.
