I did egusi business last year, I left Delta state to nassarawa state.

I bought 9 (size 32) big bags of egusi at N28,000 per bag (shaking=1,000, Sewing=300, Loading=300, Produce ticket=150) =approx N2,000,
That's altogether N30,000 per bag.

The following villages market are where you can get Egusi Melon in Bulk. during September peak period.

I transported my goods home, but it was unfortunate that the profit I made was very slim because I was a newbie unlike now.

It was my first time. And now I already have multiple customers waiting on me to supply them. and now I know all the process involved.

I can even buy a truck load of Egusi all by myself now.

I'm patiently waiting for the season to start again.

You can get up to 30% ROI on buying and selling, while up to 50% + on Storage depends on market rates though.

Unpeeled Melon

We use Mudu. The bag is depends on the expertise of the person doing the measuring and the Mudu size.

I'll advice beginners to embark on this business during the Peak Surplus season when they can buy Egusi (melon) at a very cheap rate to maximize profit. The season is once a year

Egusi Seeds are available all year round. This is because after it is harvested, it is dried and in this state, it can be stored for a very long time.

Melon seeds properly stored with the shells can last for very long periods of time.

In Nigeria, food storage business continues to make more money for investors on a yearly basis.

When is the best time to buy crude palm.oil and when is the best time/month to sell.
What is the price as at now.
Thanks.

April ending is the least time to buy... best take note, not all oil can be stored. There are a lot of bad adulterated oil in circulation. Ensure you buy Grade 1 palm oil if you want to do storage.
