Fk2021:
I did egusi business last year, I left Delta state to nassarawa state.

I bought 9 (size 32) big bags of egusi at N28,000 per bag (shaking=1,000, Sewing=300, Loading=300, Produce ticket=150) =approx N2,000,
That's altogether N30,000 per bag.

There are village markets where you can get Egusi (melon) at a very cheap rate and in Bulk.

I transported my goods home, but it was unfortunate that the profit I made was very slim because I was a newbie unlike now.

It was my first time. And now I already have multiple customers waiting on me to supply them. and now I know all the process involved.

I can even buy a truck load of Egusi all by myself now.

I'm patiently waiting for the season to start again.

Those that showed interest and took the risk out of those that sees everything on Nairaland as fraud and stored palm oil with us has been making profits selling since last week of June at 18k. Yes at N18,000. That's 10k per keg profit. Various people stored at their financial capacity... 100, 60, 40, 30 and 10 minimum.

Now we are about selling the last client storage of 30 kegs. Because we about getting into Egusi season.

Egusi season is approaching soonest and we are getting ready for Egusi (Melon) STORAGE.

Good morning everyone,
I have been away for a while now,
We bless God for the gift of life.

I want to use this medium to thank all my esteemed Egusi business men and women, my Livestock customers and my Grains customers for their calls and prayers and goodwill messages during my one week north markets and Egusi farm tour as Egusi harvest season starts in Niger state.

Due to the insecurity issues in Niger state interior farm villages and markets, most of my customers were worried but I told them not to be because we had a relationship with both the farmers and the herders as we are currently doing business with both.

We buy Grains (Egusi, pepper, corn and beans) in large quantity from farmers while we buy (Goat, Rams, and POMO) from the herders. So I told her there's no cause for alarm.
#we_move Lol!

Now we're back safe and sound in our Grains distributing Office in Chanchanga Minna.

We're currently preparing to move the Grains we bought from farmers to our Delta state Palm oil distributing Office. There we'll be sending to our customers that ordered Egusi, Pepper, Corn, Beans, POMO, Goats and Rams.

You know this is Sallah period. LOL!!!

We'll be posting some pictures accordingly as our genuine dealings and transactions continues.

Thank you all for believing in us. You're the BEST.

Good morning my business people. .

This notice is for all the plenty business people calling me about this year Egusi storage business as we're about to start storage.
Please take note;
As from August 1st to August 30th (a period of one month) in this period, the new Egusi will be available for storage.

The current Egusi price will drop during this (August) harvesting and processing.

Please plan on the numbers of bags you want to buy and store on time to avoid delays that will lead you to buying late when price have already started going up.

I remember how this same delay affected some of my customers during the palm oil storage period.
How palm oil was sold at N8,000 for a period of 2 weeks before it started to go up and now it's currently N18,000

Delay they say is indeed dangerous, so my advice is plan and buy on time so that you can benefit from the one month Egusi price drop before Egusi will begin to go up rapidly.

Thank you

I couldn't buy Ram because of the Sallah, rates are too high. I have to return customer's money.

Imagine this Ram for 120,000

Re: EGUSI (melon) Buying/selling & Storage Busines In Nigeria by Fk2021(m): 2:37am On Jul 15, 2021
Sallah celebration has made Rams excessively gone highi

This Ram was going for 75,000

And my ram customers budget was only 45,000.

It was a low budget, so no deal, I returned his money.

The current price of Grains have gone very high making plenty money for those who did Food Storage Business few months back.

Imagine the beans supplied and stored during December harvest period at 19k is the same beans we are currently selling at 55k.

A client who stored 10 bags at 190k is currently selling at 550k. What a profit.

How about those that stored palm oil this February at 8k are currently selling at 18k, that's 10k profit per keg

Now it's Egusi storage, are you going to store up? Of course YES!

Contact us on the numbers of bags you want to buy and store.

We have gotten information from farmers that the price will crash in a week time and it will rise quickly because of the economy situation in Nigeria and the crops didn't do well this year,

so the price will refuse to stay low for long as it did during palm oil storage.
.
Please, Make your intentions know to us let's add your storage order now, because delayed buying will reduce your profit.
