There are friends... and there are acquaintances... and quite recently, social media followers. When a person asks "can we be friends?" They are asking to be close, to spend more time in each other's company, to be in regular communication, etc. We are affectionate towards our friends, and we know some personal things about our friends. Unless all of the above applies to a social media follower, then y'all aren't friends. 4 Likes |
