50k abi? At some point I was earning 50k monthly as a spinster. It wasn't really enough. Accommodation plus utility bill alone was consuming the money alone because of the location and you are here advising somebody to go and get married.

As I am here if I'm dating a guy who is earning that amount I won't advise him to settle down yet unless he has side hustle. If he is eager to marry me, we would agree not to have children yet till our income is balanced.

Here is the thing, it's not because of us but for our children. The goal is to give them quality education.

Even the Abuja you mentioned, which part of Abuja? Because I was in Abuja for 2 years. Or you want the guy to marry and start having kids in 1 room? Or you have forgotten that cost of living is getting high by the day. Them no dey rush enter oooo.

1.Transportation to work N600 × 24 days = N14,400

2. Feeding 2person x N1000 x 30 days=N60 000

3. Electricity Bill, conservatively = N4,000

4. Household consumables + madam allowance = N10 000

5. Oga pocket money = N10,000

6. Papa & Mama stipend = N10,000

7. Miscellaneous expenses (medical, clothing etc) = N10,000

8. House rent = ?

I personally give madam N100k monthly for feeding 3 persons and her allowance yet she complains its inadequate, meanwhile our security guys that earn N30k to N35k survives somehow but always lamenting on how hard life is for them and their household.

Immediately after my wedding, things turned around and the door of breakthrough opened. Today, I earn nothing less than 200k every month.

Meaning of this is that, pray and work hard. Be strategic at the same time. I'm sure, God will crown your efforts with divine elevation and success

31yrs and family have started bringing issue of marriage. Citing the advantages of early marriage and disadvantages of late marriage, that it's not good to have your kids in secondary school @60yrs when you should be relaxing.

if you have been good with minding your business then you can do it.

if you have been all about super comfortable life then forget about it.

1)do HMO for wife/kid (1 oh)

2)you can get 2 to 3 bedroom apartment in some remote areas in lagos at 150- 200k

3)buy food stuck in bult and stock (mostly to last 6 months to one year)

4)have savings plans and join cooperatives (they wont tell you the truth but majority of Nigerians achieved alot of success through this particular means). When you get loan use it to setup side huzzle
5)your wife must be skilled or working or both(ready to build with you or kuku sit one place).
