Dear Friend, before you go out into the world with the gospel, you must commit your mission to God so the Holy Spirit can inhabit your words. The highest degree of oratory skills cannot change even the faintest of hearts; only the Holy Spirit of God can transform the hearts of men into the light.

"And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power" - 1 Cor. 2:4. Words are plain when not backed up by power. So as you go out with the gospel of Christ, be not afraid - you've been commissioned by God and backed by the Holy Spirit."

Guard your heart diligently so that you do not be deceived by the adversary who seeks to corrupt the knowledge of Christ and the true gospel which you have received

As you go out with the glad tidings, be watchful, lest the devil sows falsehood into your heart. Be consistent in searching the pages of scripture and allow it to mold your faith without blindly following the philosophies/doctrines of men.

Test the Spirit! Ascertain that the message you carry embodies the truth of Christ and is inspired by the Holy Spirit of the true God. The true spirit/gospel cannot contradict the ancient words and principles of the divine King.

The Gospel is Jesus - God made flesh!

"I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:" - Galatians 1:6.
Be careful about those who seek to corrupt the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ. They may try various strategies to pervert the knowledge we have about Christ. You need to pray for God to help you understand the power of the gospel that saves.

Jesus is God who put on the nature of man, so he could offer himself as an eternal sacrifice for our redemption. Thus, His atoning ministry in the Holy of Holies began, and he has promised that he will come again to take us home.

The true gospel in these last days is the Three Angels' messages.
As glad tidings bearers, we must be armed with the knowledge of the everlasting gospel as we go into the world. We can deduce from scriptures (Rev. 14) that the three angels' messages will usher in the second coming of Jesus.

The Three Angels' Message: What does the second message reveal about the last days?

The second message focuses on the religious system of falsehood and confusion in the last days. This system seeks to corrupt the heart of men with her fornication and satanic adaptations into the true faith. "And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication." Rev. 14:8,14

As glad tidings bearers, we are responsible for taking the truth to the world to repel the encroaching darkness of the Babylonian system that has crept into the hearts of men.

The Three Angels' Messages: The Third Angel's Message- an admonition against false worship/worship of the beast.

In the last days, the beast and its agents will bring up laws in an attempt to usurp the laws of the true God! This is to push people into disobedience against God and thus incur His wrath. Those who will be saved from God's wrath are the ones who follow the lamb and heed the unchanging laws of God.

Remember, obedience is a higher form of worship than sacrifice. Do not let the false doctrines/practices corrupt your heart and lead you to rebel against God.

Are there flaws in your character? It will unsettle you if you fail to settle it.
You cannot afford to let yourself be tossed about; you must build your character with the guiding principles of God. You must develop your character with a firm resolve and determination to settle every weakness/inconsistency in your personality; else, you are in danger of a great loss.

We can learn about the importance of this from the life of Samson, Judas, and Uzziah. These men were greatly helped in various capacities, yet they fell from grace because of an unsettled flaw in their character.

Creator, Redeemer God
God made the heavens and earth for his pleasure, fashioned us in his own image, and called all things into existence by the power of his word. He also manifested in the flesh to redeem us from the destruction of our sins by giving up himself to be slain - he who had no sin bore our sins out of love.

That is the God we serve! A God of great power, yet of tender mercies! He is worthy of all our praises and worship. He is our strength, and we are His Chosen people. Hallelujah!

The God-Man of Destiny: Prince of Peace

Isaiah 9:6 was an introduction to the personality of the Messiah, which was fulfilled in our Saviour, Jesus Christ. He took the responsibility of a father, to be everything that we could ever be in need of. He, being God, submitted himself in the form of a man to fulfill the glorious work of salvation.

He rules in the affairs of all men; he is our trusted counsellor, the mighty God and Prince of peace. He brings peace into the lives of everyone who embraces the truth of who he is - that He is our saviour and God.

What a glorious experience of divine love we have in Jesus Christ. He being God, stepped down from his throne of glory and and took the nature of man so he could bear our sins and be offered as a lamb - an eternal sacrifice for our redemption.

Now God has highly exalted him in glory and power, with a name above every other name - the name of Jesus! All things in the heaven and earth are under his authority, and someday, even now every tongue will confess that he is Lord!

In a world of gross hopelessness, how can we find hope?

Heirs of Eternal Life - Justified by Grace

Before the world began God had promised to give eternal life, but when Adam and Eve sinned, they opened the doors of woes upon the world. God who out of his love doesn't want us to perish, had already offered a solution before the foundation of the world - salvation through the sacrifice of the lamb - Jesus.

Now we are heirs to the promise of eternal life when we embrace the love of Christ with all our heart and submit ourselves to be purified by his blood, and justified by his grace. We are now worthy to lay claim to the promise of eternal life. Glory to God.

It is a natural reaction to feel worried when there are unfavourable situations within and around you, but it is not okay to remain downcast or afraid. During such times, it is important that you set your heart on the promises of God concerning you. Let your spirit be lifted by the knowledge that God cares about you and His thoughts for you are good.

Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning! So lift your face and be full of praise! Your testimony will come, your breakthrough will come, and you will have reasons to sing in praise; my Redeemer liveth.

There is a great power within us that strengthens our faith in the glorious promises of Jesus that makes us unashamedly hopeful. Even when the scoffers rise to condemn and discourage us as they did in the days of Noah, still, we will stand tall and not be moved.

So as you start each day, rejoice in the promises of Jesus that are guaranteed and be encouraged by His words in John 14:1 - "Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me".

Hold God by His Words

There is no greater authority for building a solid belief in the mystery of the Godhead than the Bible. That Jesus is God is a great mystery that can not be explained away by human logic.

It is a concept that is more complex than we can define on our own, but the scripture is an excellent guide for developing the correct belief in what is true; and the truth is that "Jesus is God!"

The Scriptures were given for our learning; when you submit yourself to meditation on the word of God, you begin to see many testimonies of individuals who held on to hope, even in dire circumstances, and they emerged victorious. As such, these stories inspire you to hold on to God irrespective of the realities around you because your hope is built on the unfailing promises of God.

Hope Beyond the Grave

"But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him." - 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14

Dear friend, our hope in the promises of Christ is not limited to the timeline of our mortal existence. Even when we die, our hope remains that we will rise up again in glory when the Son of God returns.

We are not like the unbelievers who are doomed! We have been redeemed through the grace of Christ and guaranteed of eternal glory. Hallelujah!

Today, there are people from all parts of the world recognizing the truth and embracing the hope of Christ, but God's own children are being cast out because they forsake the truth - because it does not suit their situation.

This was the same problem the children of Israel had. They rejected the the fulfilment of the promise of Jesus Christ because they had defined the promises of God and interpreted the prophecies of the scripture to suit their situation - a desperate need for deliverance from the Romans.

Prayer: May God help us to embrace the truth without seeking to bend it to suit our experience/desires. Amen
