The world we live in today, is riddled with numerous problems, anxiety and depressive happenings; many have been consumed by guilt, fear and hopelessness because it seems the world around is caving in.

In all these, our only hope is the peace that Jesus offers in the midst of these guilt and hopelessness. Christ is offering you peace in the storm to give you a new look and all you have to do, is give your life to Him and let him be your Lord and Saviour.

In a world where peace is elusive, the big question to every Christian is this - "Are you conscious of the peace attainable in Christ"? Are you aware of the peace that you can get when you wholly trust and rely on Jesus Christ rather than on your own strengths?

John 14:27 says "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth...". The divine peace that Our Lord and Saviour offers is divine and complete! be of good cheer dear Friend, Christ has overcome the world for our victory!

Peace is something that is desired by every human; but the peace that exists and is promised to the Children of God is hinged wholly on Christ and the word of God.

We must therefore be wary of false peace in doctrines that seeks to sway us away from the truth so that we end up losing the firmness of our faith. Remember friend, true peace comes from focusing on Christ and not on the crisis!

Isaiah 48:18 brings to our mind that there is "peace that comes from submissive obedience to the laws of God and a life of righteousness". When we break the laws of God, it breaks the very possibility of peace and have chosen to choose the opposite of love and life thus living by the principles that promotes violence, distrust and disregard for God!

The secret to having a peaceful mind is to follow God's commandment to live in love and peace with everyone through Christ!

In Hosea 4:6, it is written "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee..."; this verse is not vaguely talking about the unavailability of knowledge - It specifically points out the consequence upon all those who REJECT KNOWLEDGE!

"Ignorance is NOT bliss"! The Bible says "...ye shall KNOW the truth and it shall set you free".
