My concern is, virtually all the leading companies and renown individuals in Nigeria are on twitter. NTA, NA, NPF and other arms of government are also there. It's a fast platform to disseminate information to customers and the general public. I doubt if the government thought about this before handing them a ban. What a stupid move by buhari. This is what happens when an illiterate governs any nation. I doubt if buhari knows his twitter password sef 8 Likes |

I have no belief in any Nigerian politician again. If Lai Mohammed was in the position Seyi Makinde is, he would write and blast the presidency more than this |

Actually he doesn't need to appeal. Ban on twitter in 9ja is like erecting a gate for a compound without fence. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Can you now all see the difference(s) between logical creatures from the South and strange creatures from the North?! Unquantifiable murderous emotional bolts journey across the veins of one, while Philosophy, ethics and, logic perpetually reside in the heart of the other |

[[s]quote author=Coldshisha post=102395611] Buhari should have delegated people to go to twitter headquarters and dialogue with them showing the effects of civil unrest, people who had died since the whole saga and why tough measure is needed to forestall another Boko Haram ISWAP crisis EndSARs loss is an example of why we must be careful of another civil unrest .[/quote][/s] |

Did anyone notice Fulani youths and elites supporting the ban of twitter by the Nigerian feudal state? Did anyone observe that all Fulani politicians both in APC and PDP looked the other way? The only people opposing that satanic policy are Southern youths. 2 Likes |

lastchild: Facebook obviously, but Twitter is more effective and powerful for agitations due to its hashtag system. Virtually everyone with a smartphone uses Facebook. The same can't be said for Twitter. Check Facebook's number of downloads on Play Store and compare with that of Twitter. |

As leaders, we should go beyond emotional reactions to issues and think about how our actions will affect the people we lead and our international ratings socially and economically. Valid points here. |
