Yoruba's won't support someone like Seyi Mankinde for presidency who is civil, well enlightened and cerebral. They would rather support the likes of Buhari and Tinubu whose ideologies are nepotistic and dictatorial. Seyi Makinde thanks for this robust response. Its
so objectively expressed and void of sentiments. True leaders are not difficult to recognise.

For political reasons as the government will always say to dance around issues, they might not cancel thus directive.

Truly twitter helps us in online businesses, however, US, the bastion of democracy started limited control of social media. Social media is good for feedback and it is also good for spreading false information and hatred.
In correcting the wrongs already made by government, there should be regulations not total ban.

Buhari should have delegated people to go to twitter headquarters and dialogue with them showing the effects of civil unrest, people who had died since the whole saga and why tough measure is needed to forestall another Boko Haram ISWAP crisis

EndSARs loss is an example of why we must be careful of another civil unrest

The people are powerless in this third world. We (as a people) cannot do much. However, this current uprising is a form of reaction

A very wrong move from Pmb. The Dss/sss should lock up all the advisers of the President beginning from Garba Shehu and Femi Adeshina. Pmb has publicly stripped himself naked with this move. The needful should be done because when the chips are down, everyone will desert him.
Somehow I support PMB on this. Let Nigerians use other platforms. Tweeter is a business operating in Nigeria and shouldn't be allowed to trash our president regardless.
Besides, I have read PMB tweet severally and couldn't see how it breaches their rule, there was no word like genocide in the statement other than the insinuations.
Tweeter can't colonize us again in this modern age!

This man is a quiet thorn in the flesh of APC
El Rufai increased school fees, he slashed his own by 25% also increased corpers state allowance from #5000 to #15000. Now, he didn't criticizes fg based on emotions or along party lines but, raised salient and logical issues that a rational leader ought to consider before taking decision.

Give it up to GSM.

Trump's ousting and government change is also an example why Social media especially Twitter shouldn't have absolute power

.

The government is using its comments and actions/inactions to escalate and promote civil unrest then when the citizens give it back to them in double they cry wolf?? undecided

This reminds me of Iran emotional reaction that backfired on them.
After Trump killed their General
On 8 January 2020, a Ukrainian plane was carrying iran and Ukraine passengers from Iran to kyiv, Ukraine.
It was shot down shortly after takeoff by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.

Because they were so emotional that they couldn't reason with their heads.
They saw a plane flying and thought it was USA plane.
Without confirming they launch missoe on the plane. Only to find out it was a Ukrainian plane carrying Iranians and Ukrainians.

They don't reason first
They just burst out emotion and it later backfires on them. Na their way
do you also know that an f-35 jet was spotted beside the plane, the f-35 was using the passenger plane as a cover up to lunch attack inside iran
