TIN is tax identification number. It will needed when you want to open bank account with your registered name. Yes you can upgrade to limited and you can add new jobs and services.

I am not a lawyer but I am in partnership with a lawyer though nowadays you don't need to be a lawyer to carry out registration. You as an individual can do the registration once you have the full knowledge.
