Gynocentrism is fast catching up in Nigeria.

With the MeToo protest and Twitter funding FemCo, the idea that women wield power is no longer a mirage.

However, with much power comes more absue. Women are twice as likely murder their spouses than men.

Women now serially kill, maim and abuse men and women alike. They torture children and even abuse young boys.

Here is the ruse, with a criminal justice system that evolved to be unsympathetic to men over the years, we still see emotions and sympathy for women in our courts regardless the severity of their offense.

Similar to what the OP noted about public perception of strength and disposability.

So while women are committing more crimes and becoming increasingly dangerous - we have not seen increased policing or incarceration of women by the state.

Gynocentrism will also lead to resentment by men and children of women. But women know this and are playing the long game by demonizing men any chance they get.

Non Serviam.
Cheers..

You laid everything bare without mincing words, any other contrary opinion is akin to sitting on the fence.

I'm just happy nairalanders are realizing the manipulative nature of women as explained by Esther Vilar in her book titled "The manipulated Man".

Men, please, take care of yourselves first. As you work, fend for yourself. That woman you think is the weaker sex that you wish to please will never think twice of pleasing you with her own money.

And if a woman abuses you with words, just let her be. But if she becomes physical, please do well to reset her life existence.

A man commits a crime, police brutalize his face put him in handcuffs etc. Chidinma Ojukwu commit the same crime, she sits comfortably in police station why didnt police brutalize her too? Because na "fine woman". men are the problem of men.

But also men dont respect themselves and contribute to the problem.

*Former United States of America President Barack Obama said:*
*"When I think about the depth of the grave and the kilos of sand that are going to be thrown at us, there is no need to harm my brother;*
*When I think of the darkness that pervades the tomb after it has closed, there is no need to hurt my sister;*
*When I think of the heat driven back by the ground and the amount of water that will drown me during the rains in this grave,I cannot make my neighbor suffer;*
*When I think that I will be alone abandoned by all,I prefer to enjoy communion when I am alive;*
*When I think my relationships are cut off by my past,I want to perfect my future.*
*If I could be reborn and start all over again,I would no longer make mistakes in my actions.*
*After a long meditation,I understood that all is vanity on earth.*
*May God help us to cultivate humility and love of neighbor, because vanity only gives vanity, everything will be vanity.*
*Be happy and make someone happy.

*Good morning to you All.*

I was impressed while reading your comment but your last sentence gave me shivers

It's not right for anyone to hit another, but if that should happen to you, it's better for you to be the matured one and walk away. After all, you can easily k*ll someone who's weaker than you. It won't be a fair fight

I don't know why some women dare to challenge men stronger than them. I'm pretty sure that they come from dysfunctional families though

When I say drag her ass to the grave, I meant that figuratively. The idea of "walking away" might be ideal if it's a minor case, but if it's a serious physical abuse, walking away would be tantamount to denying oneself justice and letting the beast walk. I don't subscribe to violence but there are legal ways of dealing with such people, and that's what I meant by dragging thier ass to the grave. As a man, if you hurt my sister like Chris Brown did Rihanna and expect us to just "walk away", you'd have to think again. Same goes to any lady who does that to a brother or a friend. People should know they can't do certain things and get away with it. We are humans governed by systems not animals.

I adore and respect women folks who are real ladies with brains and manners.

Feminism /LGBT is a plan orchestrated as far back 1988 for the new millennium - The new World order.

Men will be rendered 2nd class and the marriage institution is meant to be destroyed worldwide- the family system will be altered..
Feminism was created in the West by the Rockefellers one of the illuminati families to tax 50% of the population who are women by engaging them in the workforce, and also to make it easier to get the children indoctrinated at an earlier age through the educational system with the mother to busy trying to build a career.

This is a commendable writeup!

Let me answer you from another angle as a Professor of Nairaland Forum.

Women are not above the law when it comes to assaulting a man. If there is ample evidence that you acted in self-defense, you are not likely to be arrested in such a scenario.

In fact, if a woman is the aggressor and physically attacks you, not only are you legally justified in responding with an appropriate amount of force, but moreover, you can have her arrested, at least in theory.

I say at least in theory because sadly, many police officers might be hesitant to effectuate such an arrest unless of course you have sustained undeniable injuries.

True.
Or you are willing to line the pockets of the police man.

You shouldn't have these problems in Nigeria, there's no direct western influence to allow gynocentric views to grow.

However , the Nigerian man takes order's from the white man even though the closest European country about 3k miles away.

So whatever happens in the west must happen in Nigeria.

This is just the beginning and i can guarantee you that the women are going to throw you guy's under the bus .

Bookmark this comment and check in a few years.

It will never work as there is no social security or government money to help the women. Most can’t survive without a husband.
Even in the west they are slowly feeling the pinch as marriage rate continues to plummet. There are just too many unmarried women everywhere.
It is turning into a bloodbath.

Again go and read about Dino melaye recent post about remarry, I biliv you know he is multi millionaire

What about FFK, he keep trying to have woman at home

In the west a huge population of men and women are living peacefully on their own. It is already happening in Nigeria.

Op you are so on point.had an encounter with a female Tricycle rider sometime this year around Abuja. The quarrel started cuz of inavailability of change which she declined to find knowing fully well I was rushing.when I complained , she threw sand at me then charged towards me like a wounded hyena.I held my cool when I saw the military post ahead of us.Something worth noting was nobody, not even the military guys called her to order, but if I had touched her, all hell would be let loose.Alas who will save the "Boy child"?

What people forget is with power comes responsibilities, Patriarchy gave men power because men had to go out and build the society, fight wars, invent things, create government and kingdoms and some of them abused it. However the heart of this system was not to subjugate women rather to create a world where women and children could thrive and become better versions of themselves and enjoy the freedoms that they do now. However Women want power not because they want to build society, not because they want to create a better world for men and children, but rather they want power for themselves. But like I said with power comes responsibilities and its the responsibility part that remains a bitter pill for feminists to swallow because they only thought about the benefits without preparing to be accountable. So now you have women become the major income earner and head of the house and yet complain about their man that sits at home all day taking care of the homefront. You have women wanting to be given top critical corporate positions and yet want maternity leave that will see them out of duty for months. You see women wanting to head government but want the position to be offered to them on a platter rather than contesting like men do for it.
Men have done an excellent job at shielding women from the harsh realities of life and bearing the brunt alone. However time has come for men to let go, and allow women hold the reins and bear the weight and see what's its really like to truly be in charge. It's only then can both genders truly appreciate that we are not the same and that we need each other to play our different roles in order to survive as a species.

Please, read my previous comment again.

As a man, you cannot understand the gravity of physical and sexual abuse by someone much more powerful that you. It scars women psychologically for life

In previous generations, many women stayed in abusive marriages because they were financially dependent on their husbands. It still happens today

I agree that some women just like power, but what happens is these women appear dominant in their workplace but are submissive to their husbands at home, more often than not.

Women who abuse their husbands didn't grow up with a healthy male model (father). They most likely grew up in dysfunctional families where their fathers abused their mothers or were absent and failed to show them a good example of a man.

It's easy to blame feminists but my point is try to understand where they are coming from. There are misogynists too. These men have reasons for why they hate women. They have been abused and traumatized by women.

At the end of the day, men and women were created to complement each other, but sadly, many of them have failed to fulfil their roles. The best thing to do is to play our roles correctly and build fulfilling lives. Leave toxic men and women with their toxicity and focus on ours. You will never be able to heal them. Only they can decide to heal themselves

The challenges of being a man in a modern world is the aftermath of precautionary measures the west and other civilized communities has put in place to reduce the brutal roles men played in women's lives in time past. Women have always been at the receiving end of men's egotistical excesses.

" Na woman she be leave am", may also be a reverse psychological to restrain men who on a normal day would never fight their fellow men standing on the street. I have seen men argue at moto parks, swear and curse each other, flex muscles as to what damage they are likely cause to each other, only for them to settle their disputes, go home and beat up their wives, sisters for issues as little as not putting enough meat on their meals.

Funny thing is many Nigeria men will always defend any brutality that will affect their mothers and sisters from their gender, but will want to exercise same thing to other people's female gender. If the thing dey vex you if them beat your mother like thief, why you come won beat another person pikin like thief. Talk about hypocrisy.
Una just won hustle, _4ck, let the woman born, If she no born push am comot carry another, beat them if them talk pass their mouth like the old days?! I'm not here to advocate for women who throw the first punch, it's insane to want to fight that kind of battle, but we all know that men usually, more often throw the first punches. You all want a woman who don't nag, who swallow your _bullshiit just so the avoid those punches, you know you just want to get away with being a bully, messing up and expecting the emotional hurt to be swallowed like it's nothing BUT, you can't take half of what you dish if the roles are changed.

Guess what? That time is long gone.
Now women get to _4ck and cheat even better than you do. And you now get to wail and gnash your teeth all over the media. Boy, you go Stull hustle bring money for your children and your baby mama go still squeeze some from the money to look good enough to _4ck another man. And if you tlak too much or won get strong head, at your old age when your bones are frail and your _preek looks like the hopeless remains of an overgrilled hotdog, we may get to decide if your children visits you or not.

You guys should stop crying foul, women have been through hell and still trying to manage their lives amidst societal expectations. Your write up seem to be all centered around abuse. Not everyone end up in abusive relationships. Most times, abuse never even comes in the picture when the couple understand eachother. So, just pray for an understanding spouse and you won't have to even think about what those in abusive relationships deal with.
Understanding makes abuse nothing to worry about bro, just chill with an understanding one.

Men are responsible for their own problems. Go on social media most of those you see sympathizing with the murderer Chidinma are men. Some even try to justify her actions. Some men really needs to have their heads checked and rechecked. Some men make jest of the whole situation. Men are never United, while women are. Unless men learn to start uniting their efforts in social issues like this even on social media, everyone will always take them as fools. For instance, if it was a case of a married Sugar mama murdered by her male lover the sentiment will still shift back against men. That is why even Maryam Sanda was getting some sympathetic reviews from some men.

A lot of men of these generation are not smart at all.

I was once exchanging vulgar words with a Lady and she almost turned it to physical attack because my insults were stronger and much more painful than hers, I actually got a friend to video-record the altercation.
I simply reminded her that the consequence of her laying a finger on me would be nothing less than 10 days admission in the hospital on her own bill, because I have evidence as someone was recording.
Hanty shamefully backed away and started crying.

There is nothing to understand until a man dies, men are complex as well.
If e no work, bounce or choose your battles well.
Lots of women are beginning to pay the price for these actions from so-called feminists.
Most men who would normally look away or swallow the insults are now being forced to respond in equal or more brutal measures, and the trend keeps increasing.
