He has the right to do that. The son is a child to a vip, so he will be a target for kidnappers in a public school. Security wise, the best decision ever.

Every father has the right to protect their children from perceived threats...your father will do it, my father will do it too, that is what loving fathers do.

They protect their families from harms.

And the parents of the victims and other vulnerable parties, who have been flippantly dismissed as irritants, are not loving toward their families?

Quit this kinda talk abeg.

This shouldn't come as surprise to anyone, El rufai enrolling his son to a public school is nothing but a publicity stunt and that stunt has outlived it's initial value.

So other parents are on their own?...

The illiteracy level in northern Nigeria we are seeing now would be a joke compared to a few years time due to closure of schools.

Illiteracy breeds religious fanatism, which breeds terrorism and insecurity..
He actually protected other children by withdrawing his. The kidnappers now know they can't kidnapp his son to get him pay a ransom hence they likelihood they would go there to kidnapp has reduced because the Governors son is no longer there.

With this comment alone, how does the school remain a public one when hired bodyguards are made to escort two kids?

God bless you. This has nothing to do with whether one is in alignment with el rufai or not. It’s just commonsensical

Question: How many wives has El Rufai.
Answer: 3 wives and concubines plus many children.
He has nothing to lose if there is a minus one from his many children angry

But that would still not stop them from getting the federal plum jobs unless the current agitations in the South yield some positive results.

What about other's sons?

Remember they are your son's schoolmates; you need to withdraw them as well and put them wherever you placed your son. You are the state governor. Chief security of the state (not of your son). Besides, he is about to board a direct flight to heaven. Why are you stopping him?

So, malam El-Rufia, do the needful.

So it's only in schools kidnappers do their job? You see asslicking is a problem in Nigeria.
sisisioge:

They too should withdraw their kids biko. Actually, he did them good by removing his kids because being there alone increases the probability of the school being attacked. May God help this country. Children in the hot zones should be home schooled for now biko.

You have to learn to reason well before typing, it will really help you. Putting his kids in that school unnecessarily exposes the other children to risk in the first place. Imagine someone who is a target hiding amongst innocent people....by the time they find him, there will be collateral damage. It's that simple...hope its clearer now. Whew!
