Igbo slums summed up together are noting to be compared to that filth called Ibadan that has deteriorated since 1960's,

Ibadan is a large space of land deeped in a sea of brown roof, poverty, leads in open defecation bcux it lacks mordern day toilets. It alxo encompasses a large space decayed buildings. funny aspect of all this is that from Ibadan to abeokuta e.t.c towns in yorubaland are all swallowed with brown roofs.

y'all should erect gud buildings over ur head then we can talk.

The difference is that while slums make up a neglible 5% of our cities at most, SW cities on the other hand are 99% slums. From ibadan to abeokuta to Oshogbo to owo and Ogbomosho, the story is the same.

In the Kenya vs. Nigeria thread, one Kenyan posted ibadan skyline and shouted, in quote "how can a settlement the size of Nairobi be looking so disgusting and total slum..." grin grin grin

Ibadan being developed must be in ur fantasy world and soured ewedu brains. Ibadan is nt even as develeloped as onitcha.. onitcha has the largest market in africa while Ibadan adds no value to nigeria. just a large ectre of lands drowned in filths and degenerate.

we have more successful people in Igbo land than those in sw. we are only in ur region to exploit and send u bck to slum from whence u came.

Ibadan is more developed than the entire Igboland.

http://ameyawdebrah.com/revealed-meet-nigerian-tycoons-running-ghanas-economy/

You might have never heard of them or see them in public, but they are ones seated in the big executive chairs behind the CEOs and MDs tables at the head offices of various financial institutions, oil companies, insurance companies and other big multinational institutions managing and controlling the economy of Ghana.

This has being a revelation through a research I conducted on heads of both Ghanaian and multinational institutions operating in Ghana. The result indicated that most of these institutions are being managed by foreigners with Nigerians being the majority where Ghanaians are assigned to the deputies and assistant positions. But what baffles me the most is whether our fellow Ghanaians are not qualified to hold such positions or never played a role in bringing such institutions to Ghana but it is a debate for another day. Nigerians no doubt play a big part in the Ghanaian economy.

Below is a list of them and their profiles.

1- Chief Dr. Prince Christopher Obareki is the CEO/Chairman of CHRISBAKI Group Of Companies. What was the size of Onitsha Main market before 1970> Clearly you guys are kids and have no context or understanding of what Nigeria was like around that time. There was no big deal to Onitsha market . before the war. Let us put Onitsha market before the war into perspective. The Niger Bridge was opened in December 1965 by Balewa who was killed the following month. A few months later the country was in crisis. So the essential history of Onitsha market before 1070 was one that did not involve the Niger bridge. There was no Ph _Aba express way and Onitsha was not a very accessible town so do not pretend that the so called pre 1970 Onitsha Main Market was anything significant.

Some part of many things were destroyed that is why you should understand context before jumping in with foolish comments. He said buildings in Akwa Ibom were still standing THEREFORE it was not attacked or involved in war. That is the context. Prewar buildings are standing EVERYWHERE ; in Afikpo, Aba Ikot Ekpene, Port Harcourt and so on. So No one ever said there was no destruction at UNN. but many buildings are STILL STANDING TILL TODAY

Some part of River Niger Bridge was destroyed but its skeleton was still standing and REHABILITATED after the war. Again grasp the context before jumping in foolishly

When Enugu was captured tell us where was the capital of Biafra?

Why do you lie like lie Mohammed? You are not a straight forward person.

Changing your statement all of a sudden shows how horrible you are.

Onitsha, main market, the bridge, UNN and so many more areas was destroyed more than any other cities or towns in the present day South South, please you can't tell us our story you no even reach.

The Federal government captured the South Eastern State which today is Cross River+ Akwa Ibom. How They started by taking Calabar and controlled the Sea access from there eventually encircling Eboeland hence "circle in a dot". After Calabar they took Ikot Ekpene and everywhere else
What was the population of the Nigeria then?

You talk of houses standing> Are they the wall of Jericho? Why should they not stand? Even in Umuahia the Biafra Capital there are standing houses. The River Niger Bridge is still there. UNN is still there. Was Port Harcourt not a theatre of the war? Even Shell camp in Port Harcourt was occupied by the military so stop talking nonsense

PS
You are Eboe
Oga e be like you forget say Akwa ibom dey to deep.
For the federal government to capture us ...they would have captured the Igbo states first since you have to get through them to get to us. And no, it was the waterways that was blocked by the British not the federal Troops.

Although Akwa ibom was captured but I stand by my words.. Akwa ibom wasn't destroyed unlike the igboland that no stone was left upon a stone.
Go to ibom connection today, that place was there doing the war..nothing happened to it.
There are many others buildings too

Give a source for your claim about India

I do not believe that is right

I am pleased to here that you are ready , Your will find me everready
Go and ask the international body that said NIGERIA is the poverty capital of the world.

Even with that statement you can deduct that India even with 1.2 billion people they don't have the most poorest people than NIGERIA with 250 million..
Common sense will make you know that it means they live better life and have higher purchasing power than NIGERIA.

There simply earn better per person higher than NIGERIA... shame!
