“After the warm welcome given to me by the whole of the Ryeo team,I’m beginning to feel very well at home....I literally dislike the fact that pops won’t let me stay out with the rest of the pack but it’s okay I guess I’ll keep disturbing him to let me join them perhaps one day he will allow me to.

We visited the vet today and I was scheduled for my 2nd vaccination on Monday” says Aslan

“Hi all,how’s your day going?!......mine was hectic,(eyes rolling)...Pops said I’m more stubborn than my seniors, my bite is quite painful than the others when they were at my age so he tries to avoid my bites but I give him a tough time at that (big grin)......didn’t let him sleep all through the night until he sadly had to restrict my movement around the house by using a leash, which to me seems quite unfair (sad face) I mean I’m just 10 weeks plus and he’s already using a leash on me ,I’ve been battling with it since morning but still have no idea as to how to escape the leash “ says ASLAN

“Hi everyone, how you doing today?!.....Pops finally came back home to check on me and the rest of the team today, he immediately took me to the vet (a session which I really do not like).....anyways I’ve been disturbing him ever since” says Aslan

“So pops came home today to check on us after a long time away from home and boy we were all glad to see him as we jumped on him on sight even my senior Mabel who had lost her appetite since a day ago gained strength on seeing him
He didn’t really like the state he met us, to him the people at home were not doing enough to take care of us, he wasn’t so happy about that but then he promised to be back fully by next week so I can’t wait to have back in the house. By the way he noticed some secretions just right under my eyes like accumulation of watery discharge and has been worried since,does anyone have an idea as to what to use to clear this before we hit the vet again (eyes rolling)” says Aslan

Update “Ryeo’s perspective”

Okay so I got back yday and boy was Aslan glad to see me; he was his usual stubborn self all through the night but this time little did he know that things were different .My parents came to check on him at his every beck and call (this is what he enjoyed doing while I was away ) I told them he was with me and I wasn’t allowing him to roam around the house that’s why he kept barking so they needn’t worry.My oh my twas a Warfare all night long cos I literally held onto his chain lol (binding him to my wrist all night long) he kept biting and all. It wasn’t easy but it was fun.
Morning came and we became friends again, he got his food as early as possible and we played a lot (mostly running around the inside of the house mainly preparing him ahead for our daily routine walk which I intend to start probably when he’s around 4 months old) , after I was sure I had his attention we rehearsed the “SIT” command and I was so glad that he’s getting along quite well
It’s quite wonderful to be in care of a puppy,the feeling alone is elating

Reasons for restricting his movements at night
-To monitor his movements so he doesn’t pick up/swallow sth harmful (like when I came back yesterday he vomited a piece of foam which he must’ve picked up when they allowed him roam without inspecting)
-To prevent him from destroying stuffs and all around the house....

Update Aslan’s perspective

“Does anyone know where I can find animal rights contact?! Because I literally need to sue pops, how could he scold a 3months old (but let’s be frank though he didn’t really scold me ) but why would he scold me all because I tried to taste the nice looking green algae I came across this morning, ah that reminds me he actually let me out this morning to hang out with the big girls while he was busy working on the farm he’s into duck breeding and all you can check out his thread below, he’s got some nice ducks but to me they all seem like meat , I remember the day I was opportuned to chase some of em, pops wasn’t around and his parents do allow me to roam around the house cos I make them lol ,just when no one was watching I had my chance to sneak out of the house and the first thing i stumbled upon as I got outside were the ducks on free range

Back to where I was, he actually kept me under restrictions but close to Mabel so we can have some bonding time (which I mostly turn into a fight cos she teases too much ) , I honestly thought he wasn’t looking all I wanted to do was investigate the greenish stuff just outside the gate, just when I was just trying to he caught me redhanded and I got the scolding of my life. He took me back inside which was quite lonely until he finished his work on the farm. Afterwards he noticed my countenance and tried the very trick that works on me all the time”Rough-housing” ok so my head was cleared and I forgave him of course I always do because I love him he knows how to basically read us(understand) but sometimes he could be so so rigid (eyes rolling)...

Finally I’m now a pro when it comes to the SIT command trick so long a treat is involved
One more thing,I really do not like pictures but pops keep taking photos of me , don’t you think I really need to sue this guy?! “ says Aslan



TRAINING TIPS FOR YOUR DOG
-some people may not agree with this but the best time to train your dog and attain optimum results is just before he takes any meal.At this point you have all its attention
-Try as much as possible to make use of treats, this increases his interest in whatever you’re teaching it cos it knows there will be a tasty reward (literally I do tell people that the way to a dog’s heart is through its mouth)

Literally I’m the Alpha in this case, Mabel and Jade share the same rank as Beta as they do not give in to each other, Aslan seems to also want a peek at the top lol
