What exactly has he done to be on the good book of Igbos? I don't think he has made efforts at reducing ethnic tensions not only in Southeast but across Nigeria. The only time he has ever shown commitment to peace was when NDDC was threatened by Niger Delta youths during which he not only granted Tompolo secret State pardon but went to plead for peace. I assume it is to prevent possible attack on oil facilities.
