Re: Black Smoke From Exhaust. by olumike001(m): 5:01pm On Sep 12, 2021 |
Originakalokalo:Back smoke.,...check out for the fuel consumption, if you notice a rapid consumption......look out for the smoke sensor, does it jerk if yes check the coil, coil cable etc Black smoke revolves around fuel mechanism. |

Originakalokalo:. It could be minor things like a bad spark plug. But if it is not shaking , you should rule out plug defect. Also check if the earth wire connected to your silencer is not mistakenly disconnected by these fake mechanics Check if your nozzle is not leaking fuel. Check if any sensor wire is not disconnected Lastly, check if your brain box is still okay. Don't let mechanic or auto rewire scam you, it is something minor. It is not engine problem. I have experienced it severally. |

It's likely the exhaust sensor if you see black smoke when you accelerate, and if your fuel burns out fast. |

Incomplete combustion. Service ur carburator or injector |
Re: Black Smoke From Exhaust. by taurusdude0(m): 7:50pm On Sep 12, 2021 |
Black smoke = bad carburetor/injector faults or something to do with them. White smoke = faulty oil or engine giving up. If you engine shorts oil could also be bad oil or engine is gone. But hey go to a mechanic and have your car checked |

Originakalokalo: Any remedy? Can anything be done? If it's black smoke,it's not engine problem ooo don't be deceived. It's electrical issues or the stuff in your exhaust has issue...... The only issue is that it consumes more fuel than normal if it's electrical fault.... Your engine is okay... If it's blue smoke, that's where the engine is faulty |

Shanid: The quality of the rings your mech buys would determine how long the engine would run afterwards... Most of them would buy low grade china version to save more money. If he can buy the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) rings, you'll be fine. 2 Likes |

Black= bad carburettor; unburnt fuel; fuel consumption Blue=weak piston/oil rings; oil consumption |
Re: Black Smoke From Exhaust. by r4roty(m): 9:12pm On Sep 12, 2021 |
Originakalokalo:. No need to change the engine. 1. Service the fuel injector nozzles. If problem is not resolved then 2. Fuel to air mix ratio is not accurate in other words, more fuel and less air is being injected into the engine cylinders. The mass airflow meter may be defective- change it. If problem still exist- change the ECU ( Brain box). 3. Burning too much oil means that your oil rings are worn-out thus allowing oil to enter the combustion chamber- change piston rings. 1 Like |
