The only thing they have to show you is how bitter, angry, frustrated and allergic to progress they are.

This thread is killing them massively.

Instead of investing and building this kind of project, they looted every kobo insight.

The money they stole and shared with Dasuki was enough to build Lagos Ibadan Railway x 2.

This clown over here accumulated N51 trillion oil wealth, the largest in the history of Nigeria, but he did not commission anything, no road, no bridge, no hospital, no refinery, no electricity, nothing, just looting and stealing.

To make matters worse, he ends up borrowing to pay workers salaries until his last day in office.

This is their hero, a failed, crooked and corrupt loser with ZERO achievements to his name..

Rail lines are designed to address specific economic and transportation needs.

The Nigerian/Maradi rail line addressed industrial and commercial rail transportation of the landlocked countries to gain access to ports and transport their goods and services via our ports and railways, this is a revenue/money generating project for Nigeria, revenue that the Republic of Benin is currently receiving from the landlocked countries.

We've already signed and awarded a contract for the Lagos/Calabar rail line so your idiotic nonsense about the streets if Uyo and Calabar is another reflection of your idiocy, stupidity, illiteracy, ignorance and gutter mentality.

Fools like you think it's by force to keep boring us with your backward and stone-age mentality nonsense.

My friend you are to Total illiterate so what you have all your freight trains which carry cargos and containers are broken down. The new trains which you are buying are not good for carrying heavy load have you. . If you think I am lying put pictures of videos of those new railways carrying heavy load like containers .you will be shocked they cannot. Please show videos of pictures of the new railways and trains carrying heavy load we are not thinking about round pipes which are empty. This is why did Nigerian government including the people building the railways do not want to tell us the load capacity of the new railways. If they are not Light Railway wish they would have told us the capacity long ago. Number one the new railways cannot carry the loan number to the new trains are all plastic and fibre. Things which are made out of paper or scissors they cannot carry heavy Steel Lord like containers and oil tankers. Only for apapa Wharf to about 15 km it's heavy industrial railway with a capacity of more than 65 tons per wagon.

Please watch this YouTube video below 3 horse train carrying 65 ton of concrete power wagon and three quarters stones. You are thinking about carrying passengers other African countries are thinking about curry industrial goods and products by rail. The age of carrying passengers in Africa is over it is the age of carrying goods and products for the Industries and factory. 3 horses and 37 wagons 65 ton payload x 37. The age of carrying passengers in Africa has gone it is now did it for industrial development and production. If I bring disgrace to Nigeria I can carry 10,000 people in one go

Let me tell you a story, a very depressing and tragic story about past administrations and how the intentionally underdeveloped Nigeria.

Warri Itakpe railway was conceived to transport raw materials and finished products back and forth from Warri/Itakpe, but they abandoned the project for 30 years.

It's like building an airport without a runway, this is another one of the many sad reasons why Ajaokute remained a dream.

...but PMB revied and completed the same decades-old abandoned project in less than 3 years..

I like what I see. Kudos to the government for this varying railway projects. When are we going to also have railways from SS and SE going to various parts of the country please?

Two contracts totalling nearly 6 billion dollars have been awarded for two major lines - the East-West coastal line connecting Lagos with cities all the way to Calabar, PH, Enugu, Aba etc, and a second line, the East-North line that will connect Onitsha all the way to Abuja, Kano, and Maiduguri.

The same company that built what we are seeing here was contracted to build these new networks. Money has changed hands. It is simply a matter of time before we will be posting new pictures of these new rail investments that will open up the East to major high speed rail traffic.

Stop the nonsense. Go find work to do. He is right that trains break down everyday abroad. And yet they don’t breakdown everyday in Nigeria. Trains do break down in UK, Germany and US that I know of. Nothing good makes you happy in Nigeria. With or without you, Nigeria will move on. Go find a life!

Don't mind these brainwashed, white worshiping cretins. In their colonised heads, nothing untoward occurs in their 'massa's' land.

They have been looking for different ways to discredit the railway project but this one takes the trophy for the dullest attempt with the largest volume of words.

When the rail extension to Apapa seaport is commissioned they will move on as if they said nothing this inane.

Some of them think they are superior in knowledge to everyone in government.

Three engines were hitched together for more traction power, what suggests that is impossible with Nigerian cargo rails?

Did you just say trains break down every day in London and New York? Oh God!
How do you manage not to feel ashamed of yourself?!

A minimum of 5 trains break down everyday in London. They are usually referred to as 'signal failures', to deflect criticism for what are really train breakdowns.

One more thing. You need to understand what a 'train breakdown' means.

It could be virtually any fault with the train's mechanical and structural functioning. A carriage door that refuses to shut properly in one of the coaches will immobilise a modern train. The train will not move until an engineer is brought in to fix the door.

Even a problem track can halt a train, till the issue is fixed. THAT is a train breakdown too even though the train itself is fine! Passengers are still delayed for hrs as a result.

Other times it could be some engine problem. The UK and US rail networks are actually quite antiquated in many places, even though modernisation projects are occurring there. But you do find a lot of old infrastructure, including train stations that haven't been revamped in many decades.

Useless GEJ did even bother to touch it with his 6 years in office..

Honestly, I'm still wondering what the Jonathan administration did with all that money they made during that time, with high oil prices for several years. Kai.

The reason why GEJ remains the most horrible and unaccomplished Nigerian president.

Imagin accumulating N51 Trillion, the largest earnings in the history of Nigeria with nothing to show, nothing.

And on top of that, he collected several loans from China, embezzled Billions and still borrowed money to pay worker's salaries until his very last day in office.

He did not even pay any attention to many abandoned projects, not one..

That man set us back for decades..
