It’s part of lifestyle... even some pastors are having tattoos on there body in Canada I mean black pastors

In Nigeria some churches accept earrings for woman while some doesn’t accept it
I think it’s just our black mentality
Just try and travel abroad u will see things
Trust me

So because people abroad do it so we all should? Its now the standard we all should emulate? Go back and read what you posted and tell me if it made sense to you

People love being stupid for the wrong reasons. The place of work this idiot goes may make it mandatory to dress with a tie and a suit ,but the mumu never considered that dogmatic. But when it comes to respecting the doctrines of a church, he quickly refers to it as dogma. Nonsense

Yeah you are right
If it was a cele church or a mosque will he not pull of his shoes
Anyway we are all entitled to our own opinions and beliefs

It’s only in Nigeria and third World countries that a man can’t put on earrings in the corporate world.

This has nothing to do with religion or dogma, it's about obeying simple rules and regulations. When you go to Rome you act like a roman... We should stop all these nonsense posturing and stop projecting stupid pride.

They didn't force him to stop wearing earrings they only said you can't wear it in our church... Simple. Abi na him get the church? Lubbish

I was once chief bridesmaid for a friend who attends C and S, none of us wore shoes inside the church, we removed it just before coming in and I held mine and the brides in a carrier bag , we wore pop socks under our gowns so as not to step on bare floor and I tied a veil because my friend said fascinator won't cover my hair well cheesy

Why didn't I say we wear shoes in my church I must wear shoes inside.

The guy should know better that it is frowned at in churches, my church would have given you dress code for your chiefbridesmaid and best man, a train is not compulsory but if you will have one they must follow the code, you break it you leave to correct it and come back in simple.

All these unnecessary nonsense that people do, obey the rules simple.

The Pastor was right. I am only surprised that he later apologise which I doubt. At a wedding, I remember how the Pastor stopped the programme until the bride remove her make up. Each has its rules. Comply or leave

If it was at work or an embassy now they gave him the same rule, you will see him trembling to remove it.
Exactly on point. The guy is just too full of himself and in his mind 'big guy' . Can he try that in a mosque in the northern state? Just an adult fool he is.

Wow! For me I am not too impressed about the action he took. Truth is, although wearing ear ring can never take any man to hell, i also think the church knows this but for the sake of modesty decided to put down some rules which should be kept.

Sometimes we should take little inconveniencies for the sake of others, although you reserve the right to walk out of the church and your friend supported your action, but taking it off and performing your duty for him wouldn't have also harm you.

It is well!

I believe the setting was not In US even if it was,... There are Night clubs in advanced countries that doesn't allow patrons putting on jeans or any type of "shorts knicker" in their establishment ...They want people to dress on smart casual or formal... and people obey their rules... so why couldn't he stick to the rule for few hours for his friend's sake... or is there a possibility that he just wants to trend

He is right for insisting on walking out instead of simply removing the earrings.

The church is also right for sending him away. It is their space and they can choose who should be there.
