So indirectly NLC is saying indirectly that they should increase minimum wages.

If you increase minimum wages, you are asking for another inflation

My neigbour bought 12.5kg cooking gas for #8,000 just yesterday. 5 bags of satchet water is now #1,000 now, the same they usually sale 12 bags for #1,000 just last week.

How did we get here, many family are suffering.
I doubt many families are suffering, if not you wount have people here on this forum showing us trains, praising this administration for a job well done. The amount of likes on their post nko?
Anyway, most Nigerians have BMC cards that allow them to buy 12k gas at ₦2500, 5 bags of sachet water at ₦250 etc.
Hungry families should contact mannabbq, NGpatriot and the likes for their bmc cards. undecided

Very true. A bag of pure water I bought #120 two weeks ago is now #250 in my Abuja. that's over 100% jump in price. Most commodities in the market also got inflated by over 100% in the last couple of weeks. A Mug of beans that once sold at #450 - #550 is now well over #900 bucks. The naira is becoming useless. In fact, the NLC and other organized labour unions should demand payment in USD or at least, BTC (since our leaders want to be useless). At the very least, the NLC should demand 100% increase of the current minimum wage.

E no go better for . . .

Ah! A Pure water bag for #250? Will it give me eternal life?

We can't protest, we can't strike, we can't fight, we can't talk. What can we do then to save the lives of suffering Nigerians and the future of the next generation. I swear if we all boycott elections it will send a strong message to the leaders like the end sars protest. Since we are all afraid to die for the future of our country and weak mentally, let's try election boycotting as a protest tool. National Assembly, judiciary, NLC and all major pressure groups and some gullible Nigerians has all been compromised. All you have now is you.

And yet some state has refused to pay the minimum wage that has already been reduced to completely nothing and some are owing workers salaries for months , Nigerian politicians are evil

30,000 divide by 570( dollar rate ) will only give about 52 dollars and a family is expecting to survive with that

Which way nigeria

Una goodmorning !EFCC will soon look into the matter,as they are fighting corruption and arresting any youths doing well for themselves
.Shebi Nigerians no get sense, una go get sense by force

Enough of cow presidency
God forbid any Hausa/fulani man become the president in 2023

Minimum wage that has not even been implemented is now worth nothing.

You hand over government to selfish, dumb, naive, tribal and corrupt people, you destroy the whole country. People that think that building an economy is by sharing money and cornering resources to their tribal affiliates.

When Buhari, his cabal and the forty thieves are done with the country, it will take about 20 years to have a semblance of recovery. Then other African countries will have overtaken us as giants of Africa. And then will we be subjected to ridicule. Hopefully we are ready to go back into the books, track down these thieves and their generation into the future and seize all their assets and wealth even if they have been passed down to kin and are in foreign lands.

Even in the face of all these, there is no will power to fight corruption. Watch as the reps and politicians will increase their already bloated salaries soon due to inflation while the common man goes hungry. Watch as more loans will be taken and they become more expensive due to weak currency, stagnant GDP and all. And Watch as the same Nigerians will queue up to vote for the same people putting them in hardship and sabotaging their future.
Why won't we queue up to vote for them when we are ungry

I swear e no go better for all these politicians smiley

Before nko

We told those retārds at NLC, fight for economic restructuring and responsible fiscal policies instead, but they preferred to be sneaking around Abuja extorting money from all manner of ugly sources under the guise of minimum-wage struggle

A very good question!
When your National Assembly, especially the Lawan Senators are just approving loans without diligence. For instance,up till this moment, nobody knows the reasons for the loans, especially in Foreign Currencies. The Public should know about these loans!
Let there be a break down of the loan packages and let us ascribe amount to each loan,This is not being done by those approving it! All we hear is ' the loans are for Infrastructural Development' but name each loans to the specific infrastructure and is that difficult to do?
Economies are not run like this as the Legislatures that should ask basic questions are silent! How much is Nigeria earning,no one's is talking! A pack of an indomie that used to be N1,400.in 2020.now go and price the current price!
We hope Nigeria will not be like Brazilian Economy that is Debt Ridden!
You cannot be using loans to pay more debt.
What we have now is Galloping Inflations and will not do anyone good, the earlier we know.
•Reasons for this high rate inflammation are marriad:
-how many companies -opening for business, new business coming into town!
- Foreign Exchange Inflows from abroad.
- New investments- Real Sectors investments like Iron and Steel and Manufacturing of Industrial Goods Productions locally !
- Energy Sectors Performance is critical for Nigeria to stand in the Committee- Of Nations:-but what is % of light do people enjoyed and transact business with.in a Nation that can't provide 24/7 Lights- in 21st Century, you can just imagine the troubles!
-insecurity scares away investors in any Regions as we can now see few goods are available.
The Executives and Legislatures both in National level and the States should do more and reduce the tensions and acrimonies in our Policies and between Politicians and their gladiators so that Nigeria can be better!
The Millions of Youths in unemployments roll-calls in Nigeria should be reduced for more meaningful life.
God bless Nigeria.

[s]Waiting to see the ignoramuses flood this thread to blame the inflation on Buhari, while ignoring the fact that the world is heading into recession.

This is only the beginning. The next 6 months will be tough for global economy.

Nigerians who will be less affected are those who seeked habor in the USD way before now. Folks that invested in bitcoin, gold, and silver will be safe.[/s]
