Oga ,there is not need to preach ..Yes the presidential ticket should go to the east but these crop of leaders (especially the present Governors ) are complete nuisance and a turn in the flesh to Thier own people . Who want to give these jokes the presidential ticket, when they cannot secure Thier various state? And are too having to use the lives of Thier own citizens as pawn In Thier game of Chest . Non of them in that picture deserve to be president . They are recently the new bride of the Fulanis . If they really want power to come to the East, then they must look for a credible and strong Igbo candidate, that has a good tract record .They should all endorse and campaign for him .Then we will know they are ready .But if they are talking about Thier own ambition, then they are jokers .
supported! You hit the nail on the head.

Restructuring will work bro and you guys won't die either though it's gonna be hard at first but will soften as time goes on. Again, it will make all the governors to put on their thinking cap's and find ways to increase their IGR rather than this feeding bottle style of governance we're practicing now which made the governors became lazy ass's.

Getting the right person is not the problem, the problem of Nigeria is that we place ethnicity before any other thing and that's why Nigeria is where it is today.

Kalu was OBJ's boy then but frolicks with Fulani's now so, he must dance to their tune. Remember, his fraud case was quashed for a reason unless he wants to be ....

As for Peter Obi, eye yam just watching.

God has hands off in anything concerning Nigeria long time ago, he's attending to countries that are serious

Giving your ticket to a SE candidate automatically reduces your chances of winning 2023 election. No region in the south can win a general election without the support of the North. So the question
is who among the 3 regions (SE, SW & SS) in the South do u think the Hausas will support? The igbo never hide their hatred for the north and I think the feelings is mutual.
Na Buhari Igbos hate. Igbos never hated IBB, Yaradua, Shagari, Atiku, Kwakwanso and co. Buhari is too divisive and clannish.

Hustle for what exactly?

You guys have suddenly found una voice right, 2009 and 2015 I know how the Igbos supported the clueless one as if he was their mandate, without SS having problems of getting votes from the SE region.

Posterity will not be kind to Una.

The very fact that you supported a man you knew, deep down in you, to be clueless is an indictment on you that your so-called support for the SS was fraudulent and ill-intentioned. And come to think of it, your support was never solicited by the SS. You only supported GEJ because he gave you people the most juicy appointments so it was a selfish support hence not as if you were doing the SS any favour.

So you Igbos know it is morally wrong to support your region's traitor for presidency yet in 1999 you gave bloc votes to Obasanjo to become president when Yorubas made it clear that he was a traitor to Yoruba interest?

Mr Man, stop showing your ignorant on politics here, SE supported GEJ wholeheartedly because we really don't need a Northerner as a president..

And a tribalistic Buhari as at then,
you talked about juicy appointment, which of them?

All those useless appointments that didn't matter, all that could have matter was a restructuring that would have made an impact in the lives of the easterners,

Did the clueless buffon even put any remarkable blueprints as on road constructions, infrastructural development there??

He was busy ass licking those that later betrayed him,
Check Billons of Naira he spent in building the useless imaginary almajiri schools in the North..

Abeg, go back to the history book of Nigeria politics.

A country run on inequity inevitably grinds to a halt and splinters. By then your parasitic lifestyle comes to end. See your poor sense of divide and exclude and rule. After all the years of Yoruba and north ruled Nigeria, where is the country heading to? You still gnash your teeth about Nigeria.

Well said brother . But you fail to acknowledge that in the North, there is North central, North East and North West. Just as we have South South, South west, South East. So, whenever you say the North has ruled for 10years just know that they too can also tell you that the south has ruled for 14years (Obasanjo 8years Jonathan 6years) going by the way you categorize them. the quote author=Rugaria post=106588433]The North has been there for ten years now. That is if you add Yaraduas 2 years to Buhari 6 locust years. By the time Buhari is through, the North would have been there for 12 years! The North has had the vice presidency for 16 years under Nomadi Sambo and Atiku Abubakar. The South West has had the presidency for 8 solid years with Obasanjo and now chasing another 8 solid years with the vice presidency. We are not talking of over 4 decades of military dictatorship by these wayward clans! It's the turn of the east! Simple as that. If you guys can't stand an igboman as your president, fine, Then let my people go... But If any of you insists that the Igbo must be part of Nigeria and yet should Not be allowed to head the country, then you are pulling the tiger by the tail. It will bite.. it will bite very very very madly..[/quote]

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will ensure the above is done. It is on record that he was the first civilian governor to appoint Igbos as commissioners in Lagos state. He will integrate the south east into the mainstream of national politics and make a deal with Nnamdi Kanu to renounce Biafra and join the Federal executive council as minister of national unity and integration.
Nnamdi Kanu won't live long after prison to see this. After insulting everyone in the north, you want Tinubu to have him as a minister right? Don't let Northerners to see this cos it will outrightly put them against Tinubu.

If you really want the presidency to come South, please support an Igbo man. Don't let greed and division among the South cost us the presidency. Once the North know that we, the Southerners are really united in this quest for power shift, they have no choice than to yield. Forget about the online fight here on Nairaland forum which I believe sometimes are engineered by the divide and rule game masters, Igbos have a lot to do with Yorubas. A lot of Igbo men married Yoruba wives while a lot of Yoruba men married Igbo wives like Governor Rotimi Akeredolu. I have a lot of Yoruba friends and classmates. I am your inlaw too. Let's join hands and make the Southern Project 2023 a reality and ensure equity and justice. God bless you and God bless One Nigeria.
Igbo man can't be trusted, just take a look at the igbo stand concerning VAT Also this problem we are facing in Nigeria today was introduced by the Igbo Aguiyi Ironsi. It is only a full blooded Yoruba person or someone from SS with the mindset of Ken Sarowiwa or Boro not someone like GEJ should be trusted with power

If you want the presidency, present your nationally acceptable candidate, pick a party to represent, gather support within your preferred party, reach out and form alliances all over the country, go out there and campaign, do the leg and hard work, don't just sit there like a little child begging for sweet and biscuit because you think you deserve sweet and biscuit.

Power isn't giving free just because you employ blackmail. Buhari sacrificed and built allegiance with SW to become the president
