Orente21: Some teachers of nowadays disgrace the teaching profession. The brutality they unleash on some of their stewards in the name of discipline is criminal period. Was this mother's child the victim of one such beast posing as teacher? Maybe...... and I want to believe so for this mother to come with thugs since she know it is a thug she has to comfront...... fight fire with fire..... fight thugs with thugs. 1 Like |

If that era is gone then we are in trouble. One of the evils bedeviling american education is indiscipline from students and the teachers inability to do anything about it. The ill discipline of some students creates an unfavourable environment for the other students that want to learn. if you doubt me click on the link below and read what an american teacher has to say about the issue on quora. https://qr.ae/pGmwqL adonainana: 1 Like |

InoGetJoy: Yes, flogging, but some flogging are categorized as malicious and premeditated asaults when you see some marks on your child. You haven't seen teachers telling children what they cannot stand in front of the parents to say. I as a parent find it cowardly and carlous |

Orente21: The problem is teachers taking everything too far this days, wanting to teach your children their culture against your wish and stuffs like that or telling children dirty things about their parents, like, "you, tell that your daddy that always begs when it's time for school fees that things has changed o. My point is, when a child is involved frustration is involved. Both on the parents side and teachers side. |

angelfallz: So until you physically assault someone perhaps a kid that is is defenseless against you in strength and is in your control then you have not disciplined them As rotten American kids or any kids on this planet earth may become, the country you speak of have more discipline and safety than Nigeria as a whole Naija you dey beat Pikin everyday forming discipline once it’s 8pm like every Eatate don lock gate, someone cannot even sleep without thier 2 eyes closed Nigeria has a conettarion if more fraudsters in any geographical land mass within a country than anywhere else in the world yet everyone was beaten like hell as a kid You better grow up and smell the coffee You end up beating the wrong kid you end up meeting your maker the same day |

He's not Hausa. Hausas don't display such level of insanity. There are many miscreants who use Yoruba and Hausa monikers to display their inherent "follow come" stewpidity yet are neither yorubas nor hausas!! Hold ur peace brah! Bigpapi: |

The bolded, there is a huge difference between assaulting a child and disciplining a child. True the US does have more discipline and safety...for now. But that discipline and safety came about from generations ago when they actually flogged their children. google it if you doubt me. In fact some Americans still hit their kids today. But eventually, the fruits of the ill disciplined children that America is currently raring would ripe. In fact it can be argued that america is at that stage already. Lol, the points you were trying to make about estate locking gate and internet fraud and even other vices which you did not mention are null and void. I would explain. A child that was disciplined correctly would likely grow up to be a good citizen. A child that was disciplined incorrectly would likely grow up to be a bad citizen A child that was not disciplined at all would likely grow up to be a good citizen or bad citizen. what i am saying is, a child that would spoil would spoil regardless of the method of discipline or lack of, that the child had while growing up. As for your last paragraph I am neither a teacher nor i'm i in a position to beat any child that is not mine. adonainana: 1 Like |

Sometimes what is termed "Discipline'' is just the teacher being unreasonable. Imagine a teacher flogging a child for delay in payment of school fees...Shey na the child dey pay him school fees ni. In as much as I do not encourage indiscipline, the mode of discipline has to be reasonable. 1 Like |

TOPCRUISE: Even some parents who went to school do act like this mother these days. Times have really changed for bad. My grandmother never saw the gates of any school but she wouldn't tolerate seeing us making fun of our teachers back in the house with her let alone following us to school to harrass a teacher for carrying out any disciplinary action on us. To parents of those generations, teachers were next after God. 1 Like |

Lets pray that in an attempt to show-off our strength against perceived small opponents that we don't answer the great call. |

kingxsamz: The problem with any form of punishment is that it must be well balanced with reinforcement to get the desired results. If parents are always punishing bad behaviors, but never reinforcing good behaviors, they won't get the desired results. I was able to get desired results from my Aunt's son because: 1. I let him know why I was punishing him. 2. In between fuckups, I reinforced his good behaviors. If you are always blind to good behaviors, but never to bad behaviors, your child will also fixate on the punishment, and believe you are being wicked. The punishment will now become counterproductive, as the child may become even more bad out of rebellion to constant punishment, and no reinforcement where necessary. |
Re: Mother Beats Up Teachers In Ibadan School For Disciplining Her Daughter (VIDEO) by BluntTheApostle(m): 6:55am On Nov 21, 2021 |
Titugirl: Exactly. That is why I tell people that the mode of punishment does not really matter. The main objective of punishment is to put a stop to a bad behavior. So, it should only be used to counter bad behavior. In the case where children are beaten over non-payment of school fees, that is no longer discipline or punishment, but an attack. 1 Like |
