By tomorrow, we will power this project lighting works and tests all points, switches, lights, sockets.

Internal fence Railing will be completed too for the staircase, tilers to do finishing touches, concrete stamping will commence this week too. It's going to be a very busy week here and I will be updating the thread directly from the eyes of my camera. Very clear shots. So expect these and keep following up with us

We got another 5000 Liters of GP tank that is going to be used as a reservoir for this project


In fact, the water system and supply of this project is the first of its kind we have done due to the peculiarity of the water in the estate

There is water challenge here because of too much iron deposit in the soil. So water treatment has proven to have failed in the estate in most cases. The estate have resorted to getting water through an external source that supplies for the entire estate from a central water supply system.

Now this system supports each resident that subscribes to it to have a connection from the central line with a booster pump that pumps from the central supply pipe to this reservoir. Now, as a private resident, you install a surface pressure pump that will take the water from the reservoir to the over head tank storage which will now supply the entire water around the building itself.

Welldone Engineer good job as always, this is an example of our people mentality Why do nature as to forced the estate management to do the right thing for their water usage, if they find solution for their water problems. Why can't them use same idea in providing central sewage system to the easte. I think is time for government and private estate developers to start providing these amenities to our estates across the county.

I agree with your submission. Which is what the estate is looking into.
In fact, let me tell you a bit about the estate. The Isheri North Estate on down the hill along Opic axis, and there is a subsisting Ogun river that cut across that axis.

In 2017 or so, there was heavy flooding during the rainy season which made residents evacuate their houses for up to 2 - 3weeks. Reason why you see we have a very high foundation of about 1.5m above the normal road level.

However, 2021/2022 the estate has invested heavily in providing an embankment that will help limit the floor of water from the river when it fill up.

Here some use normal sewage where the Septic Tank and soakaway is sunk down like waterlogged areas. Also, some use Biodigester just like we did.

The issue of water in the estate is grossly affected by large iron deposit like I pointed out before. So the idea of seeking for an external source is inevitable. However, that is open to subscription by residents just like we do Nepa Prepaid bills. There is a card for resident that subscribes to it. It's still newly being introduced in the estate and people are gradually keying in. Because no matter how long deep you go for borehole. It's just not gonna work. The elite residents have paid that price and are now informing the incoming and new resident not to waste money for that.

Before now, many used to have like 5000L GP Tanks like 2 or 3 at their compound and they are supplied by water suppliers through tank while they use pressure pump like ours to do the pumping to the overhead storage before they are used in the building.

So the submission you did about estate making some facilities big and open to residents are good. Our vintage Park project is done that way. Central water supply and central sewage system.
