Don Davis: Deeper Life School Principal, Other Accused Persons Remanded In Prison Custody Principal of the Deeper Life High School where a student identified as Don Davis was allegedly molested and abused, has been remanded in prison custody alongside 4 others, IgbereTV reports. Months ago, Don Davis' mother, Deborah Okezie called out management of the school via a Facebook live video. She narrated how her son went to the boarding school as a chubby boy and allegedly returned home almost a skeleton as a result of alleged sexual abuse and other ill treatments allegedly meted on him by some of the school's senior students and staff. Giving an update on the case, Deborah said the school principal, vice principal, house masters and others were remanded in prison custody by a court. She also revealed that the judge ruled that the 2 accused minors will be tried in a Juvenile family Court, while the remaining 5 accused persons will be tried in an open Court. She wrote on Facebook; "BREAKING NEWS: DEEPER LIFE HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL, NDIDI SOLOMON AND OTHER ACCUSED PERSONS INVOLVED IN DON-DAVIS ARCHIBONG'S MOLESTATION AND ABUSED CASE REMANDED IN PRISON CUSTODY:https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=705407940425427&id=100028686823727 15 Likes

Wow this is good news. Boarding school that used to be fun is now a den of mischievousness and indiscipline. I'll be a liar if I didn't have one or two of my school mates then narrate their ordeals to me. 60% of school children aged btw 9-15 are sexually harassed, abused and even face worst sexual perversions than we know. Parents and guardians here it's time to take the bull by the horn, don't neglect early signs of discomfort exhibited by your child and ward. I've told people times without number not to shun their children's plea of not wanting to go to school or see this particular teacher. Know why he or she dislikes the teacher, interrogate them in love and by so doing you'll be winning their tender hearts to expose more evils to you. Peace. 99 Likes 4 Shares |

Fear woman, what did this woman really want. The way she is going my fear is that the son may even turn against her one day. Some of us while growing up weed grass in school, fetch water in school, go to farm for our class teacher, then we taught it was punishment but I bet you, those training made us to be whom we are today. So what this woman gaining from dragging people down. 22 Likes 1 Share |

I can relate to how this boy felt. I was once a cheerful, bold, courageous and outspoken boy. Hostel life broke me, made me docile, I was no longer outspoken and bold as I once was. Became fearful, antisocial and avoidant. I learnt how to beg for food. I learnt to compete and win at all cost. I fought, got maltreated, became Machiavellian. Till date I still suffer from the trauma of the 6 long years spent in the boarding school with occasional fond memories Although, I became more tenacious, I learnt to survive independently. This helped me overcome many challenges in life. Yes, I have achieved a lot compared to those in my age bracket. I learnt a lot of things, to wash, cook, sweep and lay my bed. I built mental fortitude to withstand anything. Developed a mind of my own, I still have a problem with authority till date. I learnt contentment, how to do business with your head not your stomach. I can fast for days and still survive. I learnt how to be a leader of men though I mask this with a facade of a smiling face. Learnt to keep my mouth shut and speak less. My lone wolf attitude was borne from all my experiences. Verdict: Boarding school for kids has its merits and demerits. If you're looking for your child to become independent, develop mental fortitude, strong work ethic then it's good. NB: I was 9 when I started as a secondary school student in a boarding school in the early 2000s I don't know what's obtainable now. 39 Likes 3 Shares |

Asquare84:It's her son and not yours, you can choose to enslave your son by giving him the training you undergone but she chose not to...if you actually know how wicked the heart of man has become, go back and check all those maltreating other people's children especially those teacher's in boarding school, their children are poorly trained. So is that not deliberate?. Your home is not in order but you are saying you want to fix some one else's home... 63 Likes 2 Shares |

Mehn that woman face look like those heady stubborn women wey dey always chase clout. But was it the physical condition of work and study that made the boy slim? Or the sexual harassment. Was it the principal that drilled the child's ass? 2 Likes |

I was just talking about this case with my dad a few minutes ago. If there's one thing I've realised, is that humans, regardless of who we are, or what we believe, or don't believe in, are fully capable of doing the greatest good possible or the greatest evil possible. The cover up by the school admins make them culpable. I'd love to see justice fully served. Her doggedness is commendable. 20 Likes 2 Shares |

When people say that their parents are like a god to them, I now understand! Deborah Okezie, Don Davis is truly lucky to have you as a mother! You are a true definition of what a mother should be! Alot of people would have swept this under the carpet just because them no want wahala Then the children will suffer emotionally till God knows when Some, the pain inflicted change their life for the worst as they turn out to be what the society has made them become! Deborah, may history be kind to you and your family for standing up to the wrong! 41 Likes 4 Shares
