What a painful lost. We were there in the boarding house in those days and knew exactly how some unruly senior student in the name of seniority maltreat the younger students. This things need to be curtailed, unfortunately like the commenter above me rightly or not hinted on the possible escape of the offender to yonder abroad. That can only mean one thing, that the parent of the offender are well placed or that the arrangement most likely was in connivance with the school authorities who may have counsel the parents so to do, in order to prevent escalations that could provoke a reprisal. This sad event can actually happen anywhere, but the ominous factor attached with such occurrences down here, is the inability to get justice for victims of such brutal attack or their loved ones, making the lost even more painful.

I think the press release from the school is based on what the boy told them.
They might not be too comfortable confronting grieving parents initially.
I do not believe that the school is covering up, they are more likely to be innocent
even if foul play is later established.

For now, an autopsy is needed to clarify issue though it won't change the mind of the mob.

Boarding school is over rated...Day school presents the best opportunity for parents to properly supervise their wards.

Times have changed unlike in the past,children are easily influenced by peer group and what they see on the Internet.
