Is fornication and adultery now permitted and no more a sin or what exactly is happening that even churches and mosques now refrain from talking about or against them? Are there ppl or organizations threatening religious preachers from doing their work? We are really facing moral decadence of high proportion and magnitude so we need our religious institutions to stand up and do their work, if not, youth and children will grow up thinking that fornication and adultery is a perfect and good way of life

The church I attend preaches against it when the sermon for the day drives towards sexual sins, holiness, sanctification and its likes.

Prosperity teachings are the hallmark of most modern churches , and this is because ministers of the gospel are afraid of losing their members if issues like fornication, adlutery and sins are spoken or admonished in their sermon . The bible has made it completely clear that as the end draws nearer many will wondered away from the faith , and some will having itching ears that will no listen or heed to the true teachings of God. In short , men will become lovers of themselves ,rather than God . So my Op, this has been predicted already , and it is left for every man to workout his own salvation

Thank you, they know it is a sin according to religion and just don't care Op haven't you thought of it this way afterall Nigeria is a secular state and adultery and formication except in the north is not a criminal offence.

People know but just don't care we are all at liberty to make our choices so long as we are adults we make our choices and deal with the consequences if any.

Yeah, knowing it is one, but reminder is another. Ppl need to be reminded from time to time or else they lose guard. It might seem surprising,but do u know that some young fellows actually think that fornication is not a sin but fashion and that the more the better?
