I thought fifa is a world body but this has shown that fifa is euro centric in all their decisions and programmes. Very soon regional bodies will break off from the organisation.

Greatest player that could not inspire his team to win the world cup. 2014 When his team reached the world cup final, they failed to win the cup because he was a flop, failing to score a single goal in the knockout stage.

FIFA World Best ....since 1991, merged with Ballon d'Or in 2010.

Went separate with Ballon d'Or in 2016, the same year FIFATheBest commenced.

FIFATheBest is a more encompassing award involving;

one specialist journalist from each territory; and
fans registered on FIFA.com.
