DubaiLandLord2:Nigerians are known for throwing up figures out of their a rses. Take for eg the last presidential elections. People were shouting massive turnout everywhere when they saw queues in many polling units. At the end when all votes tallied, average turnout was a mere 35% even in large states and Lagos did not even record up to 30% voter turnout. A Nigerian may visit a part of Britain where there are an aggregation of many Nigerians in a particular area of town and comes out the next day to tell you there are more Nigerians than whites in Britain! |

Go to any state in Nigeria, after the indigenes of that state, Igbos come next by population. How many Igbo do you think stay in the SW? In Lagos, Igbos would be upto 30% of the population at least DubaiLandLord2: |

DMerciful:Saying there are more Ibos outside the SEast than there are in the region itself is just pure hogwash and shouldn't be repeated by anyone that passed through basic school. As per 30% of Lagos population is just one of those beer parlor tales that should be asserted after a proper study or census. The Hausas will also come out tomorrow to lay claim to another 30%, meanwhile the Yorubas will pump out their chest and tell u they make up 80%. |
