You're only fooling yourself not anyone. That op and many of your Yoruba brethren are well known for referring to all Igbos as Igbos. What does he mean by peter Obi and his fellow Igbos? Since when did d Peter Obi become a member of IPOB? Please try another lie, this one will not work.
I can swear with my life that peter obi is sponsoring ipob.

You had your opportunity when Igbos left Nigeria btw 1967 and 1970 but you fought to bring them back. There's consequences for that action and you gonna have to deal with it.

That one Nigeria you insisted in 1970 means every inch of Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians including Lagos!
flokii:
Tinubu dug his own grave the very moment he brought Igbos into Lagos politics.. he was warned back then but when people think they know it all or are woke, this is the after effect. Their Lagos is a "no man's land" rhetoric started during Tinubu's tenure when he appointed an Igbo man as commissioner. If he (Tinubu) is to become president, it's the North (NE, NW & NC), South West and South South that will make it happen.

These ones we are seeing their posts are the ones bold enough to speak up, others keeping quiet have the exact same view and mindset.

The major setback facing Yorubas in Nigeria are the Igbos, not even Hausa or Fulanis like they want us to believe. Just look at the events of 1960-1967 you'd understand the real culprits in the woes facing Yorubas and Nigeria at large. I don't hate them and I don't tolerate their excesses either.. dey your dey, make I dey my dey.

These Tinubu supporters that have been abusing, cursing and threatening Igbos since 2012 are crying and opening threads to complain because of small yabs...

Very hypocritical and cowardly group of babies grin

So what are you gonna do if they attack your business interests in Lagos? Do you think we don't know how you always undermine non-Ibos in your won enclave and to add salt to injury you will start spewing those people cannot compete because Iboland is competitive.

Bendeco02:
Yorubas are very weak I swear... You insult Igbos on a daily basis and always cry when the insults are returned back to you guys.

You hate anyone that like Igbos and anything that favors Igbos yet want Igbos to love you.

Yorubas vote against Goodluck jonathan in 2015 not because of his performance but because he surrounded himself with Igbos.

They even made thier intention known.

The day you will start attacking igbo business in lagos as some of you are already threatening is the day you will see the violent side of the Igbos..

Make that una gra gra no pass online o

You're denying the truth. Yorubas voted against GEJ cos of Igbos. This is a fact!

People like you that reason like this don't understand anything about elections.

1) Jonathan/PDP received millions of votes in the S/west (about 40% of the total votes cast in the S/west).

2) The APC received about 60% of the votes cast in the S/west.

These reflect the relative strengths of these parties in the S/west. It has nothing with Igbos.

3) What happened in 2015 were general elections in which Presidential, Senatorial, Reps, Governorship and House of Assembly elections were also conducted.
The APC won in all the other five elections ,so how do you think that Jonathan contesting on the platform of the PDP ought to have defeated the APC in just in the presidential election?

The same Tinubu actually paved the way for igbo people to fully participate in everything in Lagos state from economic to political, administrative and social cultural activities.

Igbo people are the top presenters at Tinubu's TVC.

There are a million and one ways to secure your place at the table, but hostage taking, blackmail, tribalism, bigotry and denigration should not be your go to and default tools, unfortunately, many Igbo people don't think, they don't strategize intelligently, they just go for what they know and what their society told them and nurtured them to always pick as their main defaults, tribalism, bigotry, blackmail and other people are out to get us paranoia syndrome.

Sadly, you can not blackmail Tinubu because he did more for igbo people than your own igbo leaders.

It's even sad that this anambra son person is peddling this disgusting, crass and odious nonsense in 2022.

One man was supposedly assailed, and you went on to assault and denigrate an entire nationality. And this is your definition of thinking and strategizing intelligently?.

What you're engaging in is bad marketing. You can propagate your candidate without engaging in the confirmation of that which his supporters are already known for.

You're within your rights to fight your battles with your fellow nairaland combatants, but Ahmed Tinubu is surely not the Yoruba race, and an attack on him is not an attack of Yorubas that all Igbo's are to become cerebral challenged.

It was the hatred towards GEJ because of Igbos that rubbed off on the other elections. There was already momentum that GEJ and by extension PDP would be voted out. In 2011, did SW give GEJ 40%? The propaganda against GEJ came majorly from the West so it's was more than the actual election results.

GEJ was hated in the West because he surrounded himself with Igbos, deal with it!

1) In 2011, Jonathan reached a working understanding with the ruling party in the ACN which worked for Jonathan's victory because their own party was weak.

2) By 2014, the APC had emerged with formidable structure to win a presidential election, so how do you think people will leave their own interests and be pursuing the interests of their opponents?

3) In 2015, Jonathan/PDP won in Ekiti State because Gov Ayo Fayose-led PDP government was in power in Ekiti.

4) On the eve of the 2015 elections, the APC controlled 5 States while the PDP controlled only Ekiti State, so how do you think that
the PDP ought to defeat the APC in the presidential election in the S/west and the reason why the PDP couldn't was because Jonathan had Igbos around him?

How do you think the ruling party in the S/west ought not to had worked for their own party's success?

5) The strength and UNITY of the parties in each State determine their performance, this is not Rocket Science

You approach political issues from emotional points of views, hence you may not understand how elections are won and lost.

The propaganda and hatred started way before elections. When subsidy was removed in 2012, SW leaders knew it was the right thing but wanted to make the govt look bad hence they occupied Lagos.

Mulikat was supposed to be speaker but Tinubu told his people to vote against her so he could have a propaganda that Yorubas were not in GEJs govt. Some position esp coordinating minister of the economy angered the SW since an Igbo woman got that position. Tinubu wanted to influence appointments in GEJ govt but was not allowed hence the massive campaign of columny against GEJ.

When GEJ said Igbos were the pillars of his administration, that was the final straw for the SWestners

Political parties account for about 70% of the success and failures of candidates in an election.

1) The real reason why Jonathan was defeated was the emergence of the APC in 2014.
If the weaker parties had not coalesce into one strong political party, any candidate presented by the PDP would have won.

2) The PDP/Jonathan won in Enugu, Ekiti, Taraba and Rivers States because the PDP was strong in these States, just as the APC lost in these States because it was weak in these States.

Similarly, the APC won in Lagos, Kano, Borno,Ogun, Oyo, Osun and Kwara States because it was strong in these States.

3) Jonathan/PDP actually won in some local Gov'ts Areas (LGAs) where the party was formidable.

For instance,in the 2015 elections in Osun State, Jonathan/PDP won in Obokun & Ori-Ade LGAs (Ijesha North Federal constituency) because of the political influence of Hon. Oluwole Oke, the most formidable politician in that areas. This had nothing to do with Igbos or propaganda as you wrongly assume.

Similarly, Jonathan/PDP won in Ife Central and Ife South LGAs because of the political influence of Senator Iyiola Omisore, the PDP candidate in the 2014 Gubernatorial election. Again, this had nothing to do with Igbos or propaganda.

3) It doesn't make sense to assume that the PDP ought to defeat the APC, which was formed by the CPC and the ACN ,the household party in the S/west.
This is like asking why the APC didn't win in Anambra State.
