I actually had an idea on how to go about assisting the less privileged and misfortuned in this shiiithole just like you are having right now but the thought of crooked souls disguising and taking all the help killed that idea in a sec angry

Pathetic. I totally understand your position.

The governors of Cross Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Edo are all responsible for this. That of Akwa Ibom and Cross Rivers have never lifted their hands to do something about the gross abuse of children in these places. This has been going on for centuries and they have all kept quiet. Even when the white lady saved that kid and brought all sorts of international attention to this nonsense, they never took any action because deep down, they believe that a child can be born a witch/wizard.

This is reprehensible and should be condemned. Unfortunately we have a tone deaf presidency. Otherwise, actions would have been taken to force the governors to act. It's the same problem with Edo state . Those ones earn more forex from international prostitution than some African countries do from legitimate exports. . For years now and all the governments both at the center and the state levels can do is to periodically churn out worn out platitudes.. Big shame..
The problem starts from the family..
We neglect our responsibilities as parents, guardian or whatever.

Parental care has been greatly depreciating theae years which calls for serious concern.
Our lawmakers aren't even helping matters cos they think its not their problem.

Greed, selfishness and self-centeredness exhibited by our politicians and other elitist figures in the society isnt helping either, they forget once these neglected kids finished their IT on whatever weapons they r exposed to, na them they will first target.

Godswill akpabio did something about this menace while he was govr, child right act was promulgated and it was a crime then to tag any akwaibom child a witch.
But u know how Nigeria operates, laws fade esp when it gat nothing to do with the elites.

Better like murderers. It's understandable if you die untimely, but neglecting your kids?. You're a murderer!

I am an orphan, I know what I went through to get to this stage, I had to be heartless and turn blind eye towards my environment else I will be taken up in it, I can easily become a sociopath because people are selfish and take advantage of you when they know you only have them. Its by some special grace I scale through, and even though I am still keeping up with my hardness, I hope to do good and show kindness to anyone deserving of it once I am comfortable and free from these foolish people.

Those who push me to the world and hardened my heart against my will, I never shall forgive them or their type, i never forgive, it is beyond my power.

Hmmm, you should know that bearing grudges is a load not worth carrying.
You have enough positive drive don't let what people have done to you input bad energy into your life.
Just take it that they did their own.
But you have a commitment to yourself to be better, and successful.
Drop the load man and edge on to your dreams and aspirations in life.
You will make it in life and put all your enemies to shame.

Hello, Mr. Tony Elumelu.

My name is Professor M.E.I. I know you are very knowledgeable and passionate about helping less privileged children, especially these unfortunate ones that have found themselves out on this street, exposed to hunger, crime and worst still, their untimely death in the hands of desperate wealth-seekers.

Over the years, I have seen firsthand some of the great things you are doing for society’s men and women in your Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship foundation.

In my view, I think you should benevolently extend some of that good into helping children. True that you—or anybody else reading this, do not owe these children any allegiance or aid. It is unfortunate that one would never know why their parents have forsaken them in this manner.
The individuals they consider their world has let them down. Please, do not let them down.

This is my email address iamvarang007@gmail.com. I'd love to know how I can possibly utilize whatever resources you’ve decided to, in the course of good Justice and natural conscience, help these children with. I’m willing to put them through school, and personally ensure that in a decades’ time, we turn around the lives of these children.

I'd totally understand if you cannot respond to this because of your busy schedule, but I will be glad if you do.

You are actually right, but currently, I am not being reasonable, if you check most of my comments on naira land, they aren't reasonable, that is because I am still being reminded of my pasts. I know a lot of things myself, but I can't be reasonable rn, it is dangerous for me to do so.

I will definitely forget my pain once I leave this environment, I just want to save enough money to move into an environment where the people are more successful, currently I cant afford that, so I still have to deal with fools on a daily, it tears my heart and makes me unreasonable.

At the rate that wickedness is growing, it is getting more difficult to accommodate unknown people in the church. This pastor paid the ultimate price for helping those who claimed to be homeless and stranded:

https://www.google.com.ar/amp/s/punchng.com/new-converts-stab-rccg-pastor-to-death-in-lagos-church/%3famp

Another pastor was killed on the pulpit:

https://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2021/8/rccg-pastor-killed-inside-church-in-lagos.html

Everyone needs to be more cautious. If you want to help, do so from a safe distance without much familiarity.

That's the way to go.

In western world, once u can't take care of ur kid(s) properly, govt will come take that kid and u will be prosecuted.

Nigeria is just a jungle, na survival of the fittest we dey do here.

Our constitution is just a piece of pamphlet just so it won't be as if we r u not a country.

Left to me, if there's a way they can start arresting all these irresponsible parents that are still alive and healthy, so that they can face the full consequences of their evil deeds, things will get a bit better.

I think no matter what are the offences of these kids, they shouldn't be left completely in the street. Or is there nothing at all we as a society can do to cater for these kids? Whether we like it or not, these kids are only growing up to become hardened criminals - future armed robbers, terrorists, kidnappers, ritualists, rapists, political assassins and more.

We are already battling with insecurity around the country. Meanwhile, we are also grooming others that will become future threat to the security of the country.

I really felt bad seeing kids in the position I did last night. What can we do to help them please? Any any government agencies, NGO or individuals that can pick up their case and give them life worth living? I don't think anyone deserves to sleep so openly outside like this, not to talk of kids.

For the sake of humanity, I therefore volunteer myself for any assignment that could bring succor to these kids.

Sometimes, some of them just ran away from homes for no reason. There was one in my area some years back, he would run away ay from home. His elder brothers would still go out to look for him. In fact, he was tied and locked up in a room for days. Eventually, he ran away again and never came back and will never come back

Hello brother, I feel you. I made the same exact decisions you took too. I am an orphan. People trying to take advantage of you betrayals from supposed families and friends because they think you have no other option. Humans are wicked naturally .I made the decision never to speak to or have any reason to smile with some people in my life again and that has been the best decision. I want to encourage you to keep going strong and never stop praying. Believe in God. You inherit all both your mother and your fathers enemies and frenemies who come out of their shells after death and zero friends. You will only have about 10% of your friends who will genuinely care . But never allow anyone see you finish or know your whole story in this life. Betrayal is real humans especially blacks cannot be trusted with power
