Newboss: Rebuke: Let me ask you? Why would these people who have most of their investments and family in Nigeria be living permanently abroad? Is it because of the extreme weather conditions over there? Or the kind of loneliness that would be following them everywhere? In abroad, they're nobody which nobody gives shiit about but in Nigeria, they're Kings who attract attention everywhere and everyday. They have no reason whatsoever to stay abroad, just vacation and nothing more. It is the poor that worship abroad because they believe menial jobs that they struggle for in Nigeria are plentifully available for them over there. The rich just go and come back 2 Likes |

sotall:Why would you be a second class citizen in a foreign land? You don’t appreciate your country until you face the reality of life abroad. Despite the unfriendly weather which is quite nasty and unpredictable, Many diasporan are unable to return home due to shame and reproach of being a failure. They came home to realised their friends and peers at home aren’t doing bad as such ! You might be interested to know that most Nigerians abroad take menial jobs and work as a Security guard and a Care giver (care of the elderly).Very few got their dream job! People returns back home after realising their home country is quite better in terms of sustainability and decent peace ! You don’t appreciate what you have until you lose it ! 5 Likes |

Solofresh2:Get rich first then japa. its only when you lose what you have is the only time you appreciate what you have. get me ? there are no utopias or heaven on earth. the man with utopia or heaven is the man with enough money to buffer the harsh realities of this life irrespective of location. the suffering abroad may not be hunger but it is spiritual suffering. SPIRITUAL SUFFERING IS MORE PAINFUL THAN PHYSICAL SUFFERING. MOST NIGERIANS ABROAD OVER THE AGE OF 40 SUFFER FROM DEPRESSION |

Have you ever asked yourself why 9ja celebs have not all relocated to US?.... Why haven't they relocated already? ... Simply because they earn millions here. The travel agent preaching to you that America is heaven on earth. Why haven't he yet relocated already. Abi he no go like enjoy the heaven? He will live large in Lagos every year after collecting millions from his ma.gas What I observed is that Nigerians criticizes the country too harshly unlike citizens of other African countries. For example, if quarter of arm robbery, car snatching, Kidnapping and general gun violence going on in South Africa were to happen in Southern Nigeria by now Japa will be trending all-over. But you will hardly hears South Africans talking of Japa despite the rate of gun violence in their country. Herdsmen will strike in one rural community in Ogun, while someone living in Lekki will say he wants to Japa due to insecurity Lol. 7 Likes |

VIKTO83: Wow!! Really?!!!! Awesome! This is basically me!!!, I want to give back to my motherland. Africa needs me too and I will Give her my best especially when I'm Young. May God help both of us and others who are in the minority (hopefully that changes positively soon) to develop Africa. It's not an easy road though. But it's worth it and our reward is in God's hands. God bless you so much. Keep going. 3 Likes |

HEAVEN4444:Well... if they are getting all the luxuries that are abroad in nigeria that would make sense.. What i meant is living in the same streets or neigborhoods with ordinary nigerians. Like the guy claimed. Obviously they are living in ngeria like they would live abroad. There are no difference living in an expensive electric gated house near the beach in nigeria and living along Miami Beach 2 Likes 1 Share |

HEAVEN4444: Does he not deserve the beating he was given over there? That's a normal thing that could happen to anyone, anywhere. Does that mean no security there? Do yhu even know the meaning of security? No security here, what we have here is injustice and oppression playing out. Why haven't yhu gone to bring Dezani back to Nigeria? People who know what they want and have the money will know how and where to get it. Just shut up and stop displaying yhur low mental faculty. |
