Its not about minding ones business, if I see something bad i will tell you, btw I will need to talk to your fiancé, he needs to talk sense into you.

Gambling isn't bad. It's bad when you make it the bane of your existence and have no leash on your stakes. God bless the day I started betting. It has done me more good than harm. grin

Now, you may mind your business. grin

BTW, my fiance is too busy for small talks. Scoot now. grin

What is bad is bad, stop glorifying nonsense.

I swear if you were my fiancée and you don't listen to me, I will collect my ring back, if you still love being a midnight newspaper, that's your problem.. grin

besides their are other legal way you can earn money, why gambling? and you are a female for that matter, that's a big turn off.

I'll gladly give you. Mtcheww. Like being a midnight newspaper is a sacrilege. grin

Who says there are no other legal ways to make money? Betting is called "quick money". If you follow who know road, good for you.

This morning, I don make urgent 20k via gambling. Do am if easy. grin Just shut it and stop condemning what you don't know. In the days when existence for me was without form and void, Alabi came through for me. cheesy

I think I'll have to stop here. The entertainment is over. cheesy

Usually for twins,a lot of things come to play. Every pregnancy is different.

What usually decides for doctors assuming every other factor is relatively normal, is the presentation (position) of the leading twin (Taiye) on ultrasound scan on the last scan. If Taiye head is first, then normal labor will be tried. But, if Taiye is breech (buttocks or feet first), it's a CS straight up. This is to prevent the rare complication called locked twin syndrome which could kill especially Taiye or both.

If there are other complications like a narrower birth canal a CS is more likely. It's a case by case thing.

But one thing I will advise, is hope that doctor has experience with dealing with twin births. (I have a lot of gist when it comes to twin delivery)

This is why for any high risk pregnancy, an experienced specialist called and Obstetrician and gynaecologist is necessary. I wish you safe delivery
Thanks a lot for this wonderful info. First time learning of it. I appreciate.

there's nothing wrong with what that doctor is doing, he's very smart.
1. He is not obligated to answer your questions on the telephone.
2. It's risky, what you say over the phone won't paint a full picture, so it is better to come to the hospital with your wife carrying a high risk pregnancy.
3. Any questions you may have, please ask the at the antenatal appointment.

@bolded is a very ignorant comment. A lot more women died during delivery in your mother's and grandmother's time than today. don't be deceived.

CS is done to save as many lives as possible(mother and baby), not proving a useless point and competing with imaginary Hebrew women who do more CS than our women today. Warn yourself.
Thanks again.

If we were discussing malaria, why would I tell him to go to a teaching hospital? How many private hospitals can boast of more than 1 specialist in a field at once if complications arises. I'm entitled to my own opinion, you feel free to give yours. I'm a female Doc by the way and I've worked in both hospitals to give sound judgement after 13 years post medical school.
Thanks
Freddonance:

Why are you discrediting private hospitals sir? It's very wrong to do that.
The consultation who run these hospitals are the same people who u feel are the best when u meet them in government facilities.

It's good to advise the young man to go to a teaching hospital for delivery cos they have pediatric & blood bank services which may not be provided in the said private hospital but to say you have zero confidence in private hospitals, it's demeaning to say the least.

Even in the so called saner climes everyone wants to go to, you don't refer normal pregnancies to secondary or tertiary centers. They are usually taken care of at primary care centers.

The fact that our teaching hospitals provide primary care in addition to secondary & tertiary doesn't make it a standard.

A patient having malaria shouldn't be seen in a teaching hospital.

fostermd:
Decision to have normal delivery or CS depends on several factors such health of the mother( if there is no pregnancy induced hypertension, pre-eclampsia and other health issues), presentation of the lower lying baby during labour( if it presents with head( cephalic) or buttocks( breech), presence or absence of fetal distress, cord around the neck, placenta praevia( low lying placenta ) etc

The Gynaecologist will look at all these and much more to make a determination.
Ultimately be guided by the advice and decision of your doctor.
