Mamaafrik1: Hi. The train station is at Alagomeji, Yaba. The cost depends on the coach. First class is between 5k to 6k then the regular costs 2600. The timing is in the morning and evening. I cannot remember the exact time. The duration of the journey is two hours maximum. It may be more than that because of the stops the train would make at intervals. So sorry for late replies. Saturdays are usually very busy for me. |

Re: Share Your Train Ride Experience In Nigeria by folake4u(f): 10:08pm On Oct 06, 2022 |
MissEfe: Ohh my! Seeing your condition, I'd advice you tell the carpark people at Benue State to drop you at the Itakpe railway station itself oh. When you get to the railway station, you will go to the ticket section and pay for your ticket. Also show them your ID card at the ticket point. You can board Economy class which is 3k or First Class which is 5,500. If you are like me that doesn't like noise and for comfort, you can use the First Class (if you can afford it). Secondly, ALWAYS be at alert when they arrive a terminal so you don't miss your destination point. Where in Delta are you stopping at? Ujevwu or Agbor? Congrats in advance. |

Nigerians are just getting use to train transportation, train transportation suppose to be one of the cheapest means of transportation. In my own opinion, these transportation fair are much. |

samwash: You're right. Many Nigerians aren't even aware of the train transportation. It is cheap actually. Nothing concern me with road travel, with that many potholes that can send one to the grave quickly. |
