the earth is oval shaped. The Map you produced is like a ball that is flattened out, when you fold the map to make an oval, you easily see how Russia is so close to Alaska.

Russia is geographically at advantage. It span across almost 3 continents, reason they said they dont need bases all over the world to strike any part of the Planet. Peace is all we want.

I am surprised that most of the people running their mouths on NL on international politics have no clue about this.

No wonder it is impossible to reason with most people on this forum.

I saw the post on chimera this morning the same thing. I am beginning to think that most people throwing tantrums on this forum are kids that barely stayed in school let alone made out time to read and digest what they read.

I am quite sure that Russia will be regretting ever selling Alaska to US. The then US secretary encouraging and signing the deal then was seen as a foolish man (Seward folly), he is now being praised as a man of foresight later on
The world should really be grateful to that Seward guy.
But one funny thing is,some parts of the States at the border area who still got some strong cultural ties with Russia are crying to be joined with Russia!
Do you also know Donald Trump also wanted to buy off Greenland? But their Greenland administrators, Denmark rejected the offer.

Most people are busy screaming Education is a scam... Some have made T-shirts with useless inscriptions about Education...
Such Youths are here.
They will insult and ridicule you with overwhelming ignorance. Who studies his core courses again not to talk of beyond his scope?

Go to NYSC ORIENTATION and see DISASTER.
Some can't write ordinary letter addressing it to the Camp director.
Some can't even fill out their forms themselves.
When I served many years ago, one corp member had to copy my mother's maiden name as hers and submitted.

Most people here don't do diligent research and study.Most argue based on hearsay or YouTube videos. There are a lot of intellectual discussions on various issues on quora and Twitter.

The threat from this neighbour is already an integral part of their military special plan of response. It did not stop Russia from conquering Berlin even when that neighbour was part of the war.
