Schools were shut down for a reason - to curtain the spread of a pandemic. Schools are usually shut in times of crisis like war, pandemic, social unrest, natural disaster, etc. Why is the taliban shutting down schools and for only girls? But why didn't they ( Afghanistan military) fight back when the Taliban are trying to take over after the USA left. That simple step shows they are not willing to go against the Taliban, they supported the Taliban course. USA left a lot of weaponry that can be use to resist the Taliban if there is sincere willingness, instead what did they do they surrender everything to the Taliban .
