Why not ask them the reason why they don't want you to have a relationship with someone to get to know the person before marriage, they will have a reason for their decision.



If I'm to advise you, you can just have male friends, study with them and learn from them but don't fall in love and don't give in to anyone of them till you are very ripe for marriage then you can filter the one you think he deserves it then let build relationship with the person.
