Ojiofor: Okay, but the northerners who are famed to be gurus of politics will still not vote an Igbo candidate based on what NK has been saying about the Fulani political elites. Who is this not about emotions ? Believe it or not emotions plays a big role in politics....stop forming sophisticated nwokem. |

I think we should pursue Biafra to it's logical conclusion. Period! My problem with you guys, including this op, is that your understanding of Nigerias politics is warped and stunted! Whatever you have accused Amechi is true. But how do you get out of the conundrum within a Nigeria where the whole state apparatus is assembled to checkmate you!? What are the solutions? They will never support an Igbo candidate! They never done so since 1966! So what gives? You guys want your one Nigeria, yet you complain. Isn't that annoying!? It makes no sense to insist on Nigeria under these conditions. Buhari will foist Amechi on you all for the same reason Obasanjo foisted Jonathan;Just to spite igbos. They will never allow an igbo man there! It's the plan. They will continue like that for ages while preparing to loot your gas to develop their cities while Aba and Onitsha look like ghost towns. What are you going to do about it!? For me, it's time to leave. Unless you want to play the role of slaves.. 7 Likes |

Igboid: Wike have also declared to run but I know he have his eyes to become VP.But as for Obigbo, I think he used a sledgehammer to kill a fly but he was right in restoring law and order in Obigbo because Obigbo was obvious under attack by hoodlums. |

SweetiliciousD: Life is all about give and take. In Igbo we say: " Jee kolu akwa gi ebe I wulu aru! Being Igbo is not just about speaking Igbo Language. It's about protecting Igbo interests, it's about being proud of being Igbo, about being proud of being in the communion with other Igbo clans. Looking out for the benefits of each other and forging ahead with one goal. That's what being Igbo is all about. Ikwerre is not Igbo. Ikwerre presence in Igbo gathering is a survival threat to Ndiigbo. We can't be having an Igbophobic set of people in our organizations, a people whose allegiance lies in Bini and not with us. It's almost like being a member of a group where members do monthly contributions, only to have a member who would not do monthly contributions, but nevertheless is allowed to benefit from such contributions. What Ohanaeze Ndiigbo is doing by allowing Ikwerre in that organization is madness and doesn't project Ndiigbo as a people with capacity to think without sentiments. 11 Likes |

Antoeni: Because they know that Amaechi is not Igbo. Of course. They will prefer him knowing that he and his people are actually Igbophobic. Infact this is the whole basis of Ikwerre Igbophobia. They hope to be Igbophobic enough to have the support of other NIGERIANs, while counting on Igbo emotionally driven Politics to still support them despite their Igbo hating ways, just by wearing Isiagu, speaking denatured Igbo, and saying they are Igbo during elections. Ohanaeze Ndiigbo and emotionally driven Igbos have allowed Ikwerre to remain in business for too long, this charade has gone on for too long and it's about time all well meaning Igbos demand that Ikwerre be officially excommunicated from Igbo nation. 13 Likes |

Rugaria: It is well within our means and power to reject Amaechi and Ikwerre People. Buhari can foist Amaechi as Nigerian president. But as far as we spell it out that Amaechi and Ikwerre are not Igbos and follow it up with actions by openly denouncing them. We would have saved ourselves from backlash of whatever wrong Amaechi adminstration will do and would have also ensured that we can continue to legitimately remind Nigerians and the world that there has not been a Nigerian president of Igbo extraction. And moreover the way I see it. Amaechi stands Zero chance of emerging president if the PDP field a Northern candidate. Because Amaechi emergence would anger Tinubu camp who would in anger not work for Amaechi success. Amaechi will not win SW, and we in SE will not support him too. In SS, he as an Ikwerre man was pivotal in ousting an Ijaw president, so it will be interesting to see what Ijaws make of his attempt to be president with their support when he joined the North and SW to unseat GEJ in 2015. 8 Likes |

OkpaNsukkaisBae:Amaechi never for one day deny his Igboness even when he was governor of Rivers, Igwebuike most of you lack it, you don't understand the country you're in, no doubt the great sons of Igboland you listed are credible candidates, I'm a realist those guys can't get APC presidential flag, I have been carefully monitoring Nigeria political situations for years, I can give more than six reasons why North will not hand power over to West, I can give you reasons why they can't hand over power to Southeast, the only region they can confidently handover power is South-South, many Ikwerre never deny their Igboness, Amaechi belong to those group, he also married from Southeast that also bring him closer to his people, forget about sentiments he is the only Igbo large percentage of North trust base on his antecedents of unifying all even when he was governor unlike Wike that's confused, Wike shot himself on the foot, publicly denying his Igboness thinking he was helping his political career, he has realised his mistakes and trying to play smart, but it's late. Lol see grown men wasting time discussing about Amaechi. By the way, Igboid made a perfect point. Under no circumstances should someone be allowed to be nominated as an Igbo candidate when they are not from the geopolitical zone of the SE. It is not only an insult but an affront on the dignity of the SE people. Back to Amaechi, I think there are too much comedian commentators online. They have been parroting Amaechi, Emefiele, Jonathan, and etc lol and you but wonder what is driving their sense. There is only one person Buhari can use against Asiwaju, and that man is Osinbajo. He is the only one Buhari can nominate that will not cause too much implosion in APC and eventually in the general election. 3 Likes 1 Share |

LegendHero: Correct! If the power that be wants osinbajo, they know he will as well need asiwaju, I'm sure they will involve yoruba leaders and close people to asiwaju to convince him people like baba akande, osoba etc, but for buhari to endorse someone outside the sw it will be very difficult because the party will loose the biggest region with apc support in the South and no reasonable party want to leave certainty for uncertainty by choosing a candidate from ss or se. 2 Likes |

Igboid:My dear friend, why are you killing yourself over nothing. Why do you whipe up this sentiments just because you hate the Ikwerres because of their emerging political strength and relevance in the Nigerian state. Why the bitterness over something you should overlook and make your own progress. It is this same hate and tribalism that has brought your Igbo nation to where it is today. You see every other tribe as inferior except for yours. You claim to know it all and subjugate your host. You and your people have tried so hard to subjugate this tribe(Ikwerres) but they refused to, they refused to be annexed, is that why you are blowing hot? He has an identity, he maintained his identity yet you won't let him be. Like someone said up there, Ikwerres and Igbos have several similarities and traits. They inter marry and exchange culture and traditions, yet these are two distinct tribes. Drop your bitterness, use these efforts of yours to mobilise your people. Sensitise Igbos politically to know that political power is negotiable and not gotten by threat or force. Know this and know peace. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Nebuchadnezzarr: You are already in pains. I don't hate or love Ikwerre. I don't see any Igbo man in Ogbakor Ikwerre. It's Ikwerre people who are all over Igbo organizations trying to reap where they didn't sow, an unfortunate situation that many Igbos are now kicking against. I'm just angry at their blatant impersonation attempts against Ndiigbo. No one is threatening anyone. We are simply saying that Amaechi and Ikwerre are not Igbo and that under no circumstances should they be mistaken for one. If you see any hate from the above stand, then the problem is yours and not mine. And where exactly is Ndiigbo? You are a clown. Like your group is buying fuel and rising good commodities at different prices from Ndiigbo? I mean you have more accomplished men and women and better commoners than Ndiigbo? You really need a mental examination. 11 Likes |

Igboid:Your hate and bitterness will not take you anywhere. Go and educate your people on how to play politics and stop looking for loopholes on why your people can't be president of Nigeria. It is this same pride and arrogance that made Ojukwu to go to war with the Nigerian state, committing over 3 millions lives to waste. A war you people weren't prepared for. Arrogance. This same behaviour is now playing out in your region again via Nnamdi Kanu. You people will abuse and insult other tribes and at the same time seek to govern the country. Leave the Ikwerre people alone and pursue your own destiny. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Nebuchadnezzarr: You are talking off point. My stand on Ikwerre has nothing to do with presidency. I have been on this since 2015. Your hate and senselessness have blinded you. You are not doing anyone any favor by voting an Igbo or non Igbo president. Everyone will buy fuel and food prices at the same price and exchange Dollar and pounds at the same price too. Your mumu nah follow come. If insisting that Ikwerre is not Igbo and that Ohanaeze Ndiigbo must officially make that public means hating Ikwerre, then yes I agree with you, I hate Ikwerre. 10 Likes |

I was thinking this thread should make you happy. I mean I'm finally saying that Ikwerre is not Igbo. But we know it doesn't make you happy, because Igbos waking up from their emotionally induced slumber and calling you lots out for non Igbos you are will totally mess up with your long con game. You need emotional Igbos to keep calling you Igbo and admitting your spies into our organizations, to stay in business. Right? Ndi nwuru anwu na-aga Ije. Igboid:If truly you hate the Ikwerres as you said up there, then how am I talking off point. It is in your DNA to hate what does not belong to your tribe. You gate every other tribe. You despise them but cunningly make them believe you love them just inorder to take what belong to them. Your tribe is cunning and hateful. Wherever he finds himself he would want to dominate. This is the problems he has with the Ikwerre people. They have been battling this subjugation for decades and that was the reason Amaechi made the clarification in Item. Your god, Nnamdi Kanu didn't just start this hate filled rhetoric, it's part of your tribe. It's in your DNA. Until Igbos learn how to love other tribes, build bridges and make friends, he will never be president. Rotimi Amaechi will be president if that is God's will. It is not whether he claim to be Igbo, Ikwerre or Ibibio. 1 Like 2 Shares |

You hit the nail bro. Nice thread. The SE should fight for the Presidency and Igbo SS should support them just as Middle-belt Yoruba suppprt SW ambitions. Again, Ikwerre's are not Igbos neither are the Ikas. Truth be told, Ikwerre's should find their towel where they dried them. If Ndigbo feels the SS brothers should be supported then it should be us from Egbema and Obigbo in Rivers, and the likes of Aniocha/Oshimilli in Delta. 4 Likes |
