The rubbish going on in Nigeria is what you called taxation also we are talking about direct taxation by the Lagos state government from Lekki residents and businesses in that axis you are talking about value added tax by the Nigeria government, just few months ago River state and Lagos state entered into legal battle with FIRS over VAT so state can collect it and not Federal government agency. This one in Lekki toll gate is under Lagos state and it is needed to fund development in the state. Toll gate must continue, if any now is not comfortable with it, they are free to move to the mainland.
