What was that assassin doing? It was too cringeworthy for me. It looked too basic. I mean, are you not supposed to employ stealth and all? What was that? Ahhhh!

I'll give it a 7/10.

Lol

A lot of what was protrayed in that movie is not foreign. It might be foreign to you, but not so much for the incredibly wealthy.

It was literally only one detective with a foreign accent and there was a back story to that. The other officers were not forming anything.

Ain't expecting anything less...@the_response... I'm done arguing.

So what's up with the naked girls bathing scene? That's total rubbish. Must we copy the whites in everything. This is Africa ffs

Is it the same movie I watched yesterday night, that this ppl are giving all raves n praise?
Rubbish overrated,boring movie….
Actually started well but it became clear they had nothing to act along the line……
Watched the movie cos of Ramsey, but I must say it was a sheer waste of talent
I fully agree with you. If i were to direct the movie, it would have started from the Investigation of Kola's mysterious death, the murderers would only be revealed through sequential flashbacks.
For me, Everything fell flat as soon I knew the murderer at the beginning.

The casting is perfect, cinematography is great, story is superb but with a lot of flaws, kudos to them though, but if you have seen foreign series you won't rate this more than 6 or 7, how the hell did the hired killer with a suspicious dressing sneake in a gun into a 7 star hotel hosting a 7 star wedding with heavy security details, how did kemi and sarah compose themselves so much right after a murder?, something they have not witnessed before, how could akin leave kola for so long that a murder happened and as a bestman he didn't know?, how did they have so much time that they had to dismember a whole body at a time when the bride's mother and family were suoposed to be with her after her groom's disappearance?, how did sarah and kemi get the hotel uniform that perfectly fit them, had to move the body from their suite all the way down without real staff crossing their path and nobody saw their moves on the cctv to alert appropriate office?, how on earth could a security man not know the staff of the hotel and he got to know about the disappearance of the groom and there is no scene showing top management of the hotel being worried or call an emergence meeting about the incident?, how was a gun found on a buried body and no forensic was carried out to know the prints on the gun?, this would be a big deal in a foreign movie, how can sarah and kemi hijack a whole ferrari and no scene was shown where denrele reported a missing car or the car being tracked or chased, how can fugitives be walking on a road bearing in mind they are on the most wanted list and not cover their faces, they even accepted a ride offer from total strangers, so many flaws in the movie but for a nigerian standard they tried but they can always do better....nothing stops them from critiquing their movie before being released

I almost thought I was the only person who noticed these obvious flaws. I will rate it 5/10.

Flashblacks would water down the story.

Ever heard of Psychological thriller? Flashbacks would keep viewers on the edge and make them guessing till the very end.

An ok movie. When will Mo learn that casting all the big names and showing of wealth doesn't make a movie great?

Some of the best movies I've watched where from unknown names. Some where not even more than a 5 man cast.

Anyway, i rate it a 5. Decent effort but we can always do better. We have what it takes.

how can sarah and kemi hijack a whole ferrari
Mustang, not Ferrari.

Tina Mba/Ireti Doyle would have done the same thing, because that is the demeanor expected of the character.

She did have an associate, remember Zack Orji...she was just mostly isolated...but that is the character being played

Well, I guess you are right. She portrayed what her character was expected to.

The murderers should have been a suspense. It should have only been revealed after investigation, the hitman should have been stealth and act like part of the party men

Yes, I am quite aware it is 4:00AM Nigerian time, and yet, I am wide awake, about to drop a review that will most likely be lengthy, so, you already know how bomb this watch was.

Welcome back!.... like a hurricane of fresh air!

Hmmm......captivating write up! ... you can really make movies with words.... no camera needed! Love this your review! You should be a screen writer.... would make fast moving movies with tight dialogues!

I'm a big action movie fan so I was very impressed with the fight scenes well choreographed. Most realistic and believable fight scenes I've seen in any Nigerian movie.

Hmmm.... haven't watched this movie as yet to judge the fight scenes. I was never in the slightest way impressed by any fight scene in any Nollywood movie... in fact the ones I saw were all like stage acting... except one... Genevieve Nnaji and Maureen Solomon in Women Affairs. I know they are both verrrrry good actresses .... but I would give credit to the director for keeping the camera running because no one can convince me that that was not a real fight!

I give it to the casting, production
I have some points against them.
Where in the world is a killer just kicked out and not arrested and made to reveal who sent him?
Some parts are not well connected.
I don't know if Netflix made them to do the nude scenes. Some of the cast are already known and exposure not needed.
Inspector Joe just harassing Femi, brother without imvitation.

King of Boys is not perfect and in comparison to this is way better.

I love suspense movies and KOB still has better ploys and twists.

It is still a good movie overall and good Nigerian production for Netflix. It still represent the country well like Oloture.

Wotoporiously cool speaking

Omo I just Facebook this movie o

Out of everything wey I wan talk about for that movie na just one scence make me laugh troway for ground

That scence Ramsey a.k.a the bodyguard got into a fight with the blood sisters in the trenches, Omo I see as Nancy isime dey light matches after them don over-powered Ramsey a.k.a the bodyguard, why them no substitute matches for lighter instead he for make sense pass that thing wey I see Nancy isime dey try do, them even do make she run go carry petrol come grin grin grin grin

Naija movies are very bad when it comes to display of action scenes

But the movie story confirm and the acting and suspense is good, but you see those fighting scence especially that of the blood sisters and Ramsey a.k.a the bodyguard it was zero display of directing and editing

Make naija try dey use Green screen and also employ the services of stuntmen when trying to do scences that involves action or stunts in their movies, At least this time the sound engineering was good.

Overall I give it a 8/10

I agree with that assassin's part, normally it's either him for fight him way out or be arrested after he was man handled by his victim.

The way them take escort am commot for that place he come be like person wey go see who and who wan wed but not was not on the guest list. A career criminal for that matter. cool

No cos this isn’t a 50k low budget Nigerian movie.

The storyline did not make much sense to me. The assassin at the beginning was the worst part. But overall a watchable nollywood movie.
