If you are using mytv approved receiver I want to know if it allows viewing free to air channels apart from the mytv 25 encrypted channels.

For you to connect two diseqc switchs you will need a 22k switch (Splitter), that will enable you to combine both switchs, or an 8 way diseqc switch is another option.

What can you do? Free to air has gone scientific and that's why we should be careful before buying. Some companies dump their decoders once new model is out. Alphabox leads those companies, Qsat included. A company like Gsky doesn't produce a lot of receivers and the few they've are well supported. It's like someone who have 20 children from one woman and hunger dey hammer them, and another one of the same class has 4 and feeds them properly.
Though a bit expensive, I can only mention GSKY and TIGER(forever server) as only reliable ones at the moment.
