It can't win him Nada
Tinubu is over rating himself and he should be careful
Ribadu and Atiku contested under his party but both lost .
Only Buhari was strong enough to win 2015, the winning margin in the south west was not even up to 300k whereas kano votes alone cancelled it, so that dude should stop talking
Was beginning to root for him, until his latest outburst, even heard, some northern governors that are rooting for him backed out too....
There's limit to what you say in politics at a given time....
Even as Buhari fuckup, no try insult am, we still listen to him...

You are not getting it.

Until the merger, Buhari could not win elections three times (2003, 2007, and 2011).

The merger happened, and he won. It was said that Buhari had given up hopes of ever becoming president, but Tinubu traveled to Katsina, and assured Buhari that he would become president.

Tinubu and his team repackaged Buhari, and helped him win.

Yes, Buhari is strong in the North, but how come his strength did not help him win election 3 times, even against a man from the minority?

And we Yoruba are even tired of this accursed British cage. As long as this British cage exists, I will never abuse any Whiteman that refers to blacks as inferior/animals.

How is Tinubu being betrayed here? Was there an Agreement he will be the one to succeed Buhari from the beginning? Or he supported Buhari Thinking Buhari will support him. Well, he was not the only one that supported Buhari. A lot of forces came together from different region to form the APC. Even some high level members of the Pdp then where part of the forces that combined to bring Buhari into power. He should not be feeling entitled. Buhari knows his govt has failed already and Buhari himself does not want another president who will destroy this country furthermore. Thank you!
am sure a lot of us were not there when the gentleman agreement was made. Asiwaju has said his own....let buhari make his own pronouncement.

Nice one...you are the few that reply comments without insulting.

MASTAkiLLAh:
I watched a video of Tinubu in Ogun state yesterday where he made disparaging comments against President Buhari and other politicians including the Ogun state governor.

There's freedom of speech I agree but Tinubu should remember that politicians are a very vindictive specie of human beings, you might be the one who brought them to power but insulting them might force them to exercise that power on you.

So my question once again, is Tinubu ready for this fight he started? He who comes to equity must come with clean hands.
I'm very sure he's ready to fight that's why he's making such comments.

He's too smart to know not to start a fight he can't win. Let's see how this will play out. If he doesn't get the ticket, Atiku will become president and Tinubu will work against the APC.

Most Igbos and Yorubas don't know politics is an overstatement.
Fact is that it's the skewed and lopsided political structure of Nigeria created by northern soldiers which makes Arewa politicians become lords in Nigeria's political process.

If you had written that most Igbos and Yorubas don't know politics because they have not insisted that the political structure be restructured democratically, or disband Nigeria, that would be fairer. Tinubu is one of the southerners who understood the fraud of using land mass or population figures to proliferate too many new states/representative constituencies in the northern region. He campaigned for more than 15 years for political restructuring of Nigeria, but botched the 2014 restructuring CONFAB because he thought that he would succeed President Buhari in APC.

Obi coming out from a low budget party is the best thing to have happened, Obi will not win buh believe u in me de e impact will be fact. Every party has there policy don't forget. Obi would cause a division amongst the elders and the youths up north especially in NC, he has a sure bank in the SS and SE alongside a sharp division in the SW also. His projected vice would make an impact no matter how tangible in the NW and NE..

Nigeria would be great again....

Vote right, vote labour, vote peter Obi...
Since he is that influential, how come his candidate lost to apga in the anambra governorship election?

Whatever fight you think Tinubu started, know that he is not alone in it.

You should, if an honest and decent person, know that Tinubu has done no wrong to those who turned around to repay his loyalty and support with malice and treachery.

Says a lot for your character that you only see the actions of Tinubu and not the deeds of those you claim Tinubu is fighting that necessitated what you deem "fighting talk".

We are not deceived by you IPOBians and your constant need to give a dog you hate a bad name to hang it. Don't worry about Tinubu. Support your candidate and leave Tinubu be.

In bold.

Fulani is about 15 million people, or less, in Nigeria, not withstanding that Fulani is being gradually imported into Nigeria from abroad.
So it's self-defeating to say that apc can never win a northern or Southern presidential candidate without fielding a Fulani presidential candidate.

When Atiku & Ribadu contested under ACN, the party was still fresh off as newly formed and he had a long litigation process reclaiming the mandates stolen by OBJ across the SW states. ACN became stabilized after 2012 and then started expanding.
Who knew Buhari in the south before Tinubu rescued him?.
Has Buhari ever won in the South?..
Tinubu hired Obama's political strategist for Buhari, flew him to Chattam house, rebranded him as a repentant democrat and invested heavily in social media caimpaign. Buhari was totally written off in the entire south as a dictator and a religious and tribal supremacist. We can still witness the SS and SE still using it against him till date, they hate him. But Tinubu led the SW to rally behind him. Buhari had only won in the core muslim north of NW & NE, also failing woefully
in NC.
I'm very happy that Tinubu is putting the record straight and I dare Buhari and anyone close to him to dispute the fact. When they say Northerners cannot be trusted as history has shown, it's getting clearer. Betrayers won't end well.

you are disgracing yourself publicly I don't know why.
CPC was only one year in 2011 but Buhari got almost 12 million votes while ACN that has been in existence for years couldn't get up to 2million votes.
Let me tell you the truth:Tinubu will never get the APC ticket. So if you are planning to cry just start it now.

He's not making any disparaging statement. He's saying it as it is. Let them also support him and say the same thing later.

Till, today, OBJ has never denied the support Northerners gave him, and he always reciprocates whenever possible.

What is stopping the people Tinubu supported in the past when he needs them?

If he offends any of them personally, they should come out and say it, like he's telling us.

"Oore pe ashiere gbagbe." Means "It is only a Mad man who forgot the old favor done for him."
Go and check 2019 elections results. He worked against them but they still won the election. I predicted this day will come. When we were analyzing the results I told everybody they will pay him back in 4 years time because they will not trust him any longer.

Tinubu created, sustained and organized the momentum. That's a fact. It's unfortunate the way the race is going but he's APC's biggest chance. Osinbajo is their best candidate but he doesn't have the mind for the troubles about to be. Except Tinubu agrees to support him.
Tinubu can unify even Atiku if he agrees to support Osinbajo. But otherwise, even SW na problem for Osinbajo. The North also will not readily submit. Tinubu will unleash the press, the agberos, the muslims and pretty much all his northern allies against Osinbajo. Right now, the situation is very precarious.
oga u have still not answered my question, y was he not able to unleash this "immense" political power that u think wields before the APC coalition, besides tinubu did not create any APC coalition, there was already trouble with the nPdp leaving the main pdp which metamorphosed into the new apc coalition to take on pdp.

Much as I am of the opinion that Tinubu was instrumental to Buhari emergence as President, this open utterance will not be to his advantage. He should have held himself from openly voicing out and making these assertions which the whole world already knows. He needed have rub it on our faces again but should have watched how things play out. His supporters knows what he has done and are ever ready to back him up wherever and whenever necessary.
An open attack on the presidency was unwise because the ''NORTH NEVER FORGETS''. Unfortunately, if he is not chosen as the APC presidential candidate, heaven will not fall. The worst that will happen is PDP winning the 2023 election and that will take us backward.
However, lets us see how event will play itself out.
