This is were I think we need to know more details. Was his application done and processed by the office of Ekweremadu? was it done and approved based on their status. My opinion is that an investigation was done and evidence was supplied by the British high commission and the boy, it may be circumstantial but their could be enough to go to trial and convict. We will find more info on July 7. According to reports, the date mentioned by the police was between august 2021 and May 2022. So they already received some evidence/confession about hwo the visa was obtained and so forth.

I know for sure that if one agree to donate organ even in India where Nigerians go majority of the time, its always a long process cos it involves lots of legal documentations and the likes. So I'm not surprised it's going to one yr.

I know a guy way back in school that donated one kidney as an undergraduate in India. He never came back. Later heard he is living abroad.

Na so God go dey deal with them one by one. This guy has been in Senate for close to 20years like its his father's business and even holding a senior position without doing anything meaningful for the health sector. Now they are sick and had to sort healthcare outside. Sebi if all were well in naija, they would have done their test here to at least ascertain that the there is a match before the transparent. That way no one would feel the need to lie about their age to travel.

This is a case of a desperate young man who rather than return to Nigeria empty handed decided to seek refuge in the UK justice system by falsely claiming he is a minor. The fact that he couldn't provide his kidney after test showed that it won't match meant that he wouldn't have earned or benefited from any agreement he had with the family before. But rather than return to Nigeria empty handed, he choose to make a false claim probably without the knowledge of the repercussion of his actions. He may also end up in jail. I won't say because your average politicians are evil and then promote injustice. Who would boldly go to the embassy with a letter to apply for visa for someone he want to harvest organ from, and also go to a legally operating hospital to carry it out? The only crime of the senator as with other politicians and public offcials is their refusal to build hospitals that could provide the same service in their home country.

I tire for the ekweremadus a family of six with 10 functional kidneys cannot volunteer to donate just one kidney to their beloved daughter,sister.
