If you want to talk about bringing the best out of a player, you should look at Klopp. See the way he brought Liverpool from being trophyless for over 20 years to winning almost 7 trophies within 3-4 years. He did that with players that weren't recognized from the start. Go and check the clubs that Guardiola has coached since his Barcelona days, he has never coached a team with unrecognized players.

Chelsea needs a new winger because the ones they have are crap, very unproductive....check Sterlings numbers at city in the last 5 years, even last year that he wasn't a regular, his numbers were pretty decent...Ziyech can go on laon to AC Milan..we will always be talking about Odoi's talent and prospect forever, man is not ready to fulfill anything.... Ziyech, Odoi, Pulisic, Werner all not up to 1, just run around for nothing....Chelsea needs a winger that will score 10 to 15 goals on a regular that will make runs for goals...., there were times we relied so much on goals from people that are not striker to achieve what we achieved over the years from William, Pedro, Joe Cole, Damien duff, steady goals coming from the wings, not all these inconsistent bunch we have, they can't score. well I don't really put all the blames on the Chelsea's boards. Part of d blame should also go to Lakaka. Chelsea wanted to still retain him for next season but he handed in a transfer request but Chelsea declined and both party finally settled on loan. Lakaka number of goals was not too poor considering his number of appearances but his attitude was very poor. He would have scored more if he worked a little harder.Lakaka delayed Chelsea transfer business.

We know raphinha for his take-ons but Go watch His highlights verses Chelsea on YouTube, he was struggling to get past an aging azpilicueta and other players. The indication is that he is still an average player.
Raphinha's passes are still very poor and not precised.

English football is the most marketable football in the whole world, and their players do enjoy hyping and marketing by their medias.

I'm not saying Sterling is not a good player o. But Chelsea football and that of man City are not the same, nor that of Liverpool where he started attaining fame.

Sterling is better than Raphinha interns of history, but with current football challenges and Chelsea football difficulties for players to adapt to, Raphinha will be a much better signing.

How is Sterling a waste of money....some people are just destined not to be appreciated by a lot of people and I think sterling belongs in that category. Man is a winger and he has been consistently bringing goals and assists for city, doesn't have injury problems, wins a lot of penalties, puts the opponent under pressure consistently.
They he loses a lot of goals, man sores a lot too, his movement is great.
He is a very big upgrade on all of Chelsea's current wingers. Chelsea needs 2 effective winger and get rid of 2 of those ones they have. Raphinha has other preference, should they wait on him forever, nothing wrong with having Raphinha and sterling, Chelsea is supposed to be a top team

Chelsea is not man city and man city is not Chelsea. Raphinha with his style of play, can easily adapt to Chelsea style of football and he will be consistents for Chelsea for a long time. But sterling with his style of play, cannot easily adapt to Chelsea style of football and even if he did adapt, he can't be consistents for long.
