Studying the word of God is always refreshing and spiritually nourishing but studying a version that is hard to understand can make you not to enjoy the experience of studying the Bible.

I love the King James Bible but recently I found that I'm starting to like newer versions like The New International Version (NIV) and the English Standard Version (ESV).

So, what version do you enjoy studying?
Share with us and maybe we could discover new versions of God's word that will aid our knowledge of God.

Amplified and NIV. They uses today's English with expand meaning.

KJV is terrible when it comes to interpreting and teaching kids God's word

If you get tutorial videos or text book,you watch it read it often right?

That's because there's always something you miss or you don't understand at that time which will become very clear to you.
. that's why I say read and re-read or watch and rewatch till you understand.

The New World Translation version is the best among all of them. It restored God's personal name Jehovah or Yahweh, as it appears in the original text from which all Bible translators ought to work with. Try find out why the title LORD is used in place of God's personal name in most other translations such as the archaic KJV bible translation.
If you read Psalms 83:18 in your Bible, you will notice that it explicitly revealed God's personal name. This is one of the facts missing in the teachings at the church. The forward or preface page of the KJV bible version explicitly made it clear that wherever you see the word LORD, it replaced God's personal name which is either pronounced as Jehovah or Yahweh.

whenever you are in danger read Psalm 71. whenever you suspect kidnappers trying to kidnap you, read Psalm 71, you will pass them but they will not notice you.

whenever you are in the hospital and you don't have any money to pay your hospital bills, read Psalm 71, carry your bag on go, you will pass everybody on the way but they won't notice you.

Bible is the only book translated into almost all the whole languages in the world. Whereas, no any science textbook enjoys same. Is only in the church pastors have interpreter whereas, no one interpretes biology, chemistry, physics geography e.t.c to us in African. No wonder it's only religion we are exporting.
