Oga you are talking trash, and you haven't made any point to convince me. You are just responding like a bot.

Explain what and what did tinubu put in place to generate wealth for lagos as you claim, stop talking from the corners.

seaport owned by federal government, where all other states import from is in lagos, education was empowered by fashola, third mainland bridge was built by federal govt, lekki epe by federal govt but tinubu added a toll gate for his personal gain, most foreign companies invested in lagos and had their head offices in lagos, majorly because of the seaport and international airport owned by federal govt, these federal project s remitts a percentage of revenue to state govt o! For using their land.

Rail way at ebutte metta was built by federal govt.

Even the inter exchange at oshodi was done by ambode, same with pen cinema. Bridge.

Yet tinubu made sure ambode didn't win a second term because ambode refused to remit 50 million monthly to tinubu, same ambode built a bridge from epe to ijebu ode.

You don't have much to say, tinubu never increased any igr of lagos. Lagos was destined to be greater than what it is, if not for godfatherism. The main contributors to the growth of lagos are late lateef jakande for housing, fashola for infrastructural and educational development and ambode for infrastructural and rural development. This sanwo olu doesn't have any plan for lagos.
Do you live in Lagos?
Are you enlightened/intelligent?
Are you crazy or just a stupid IPOB urchin, those are the natural born haters. What you say here can't change fact and figures. Of course most of you in nairaland are very stupid, bigoted and with no iota of sense. This is the last response you will get from me.

No single party then could defeat the ruling party ...
Cos they are regional, ACN in the South, APGA in the East
And CPC in the North etc
The only option was a merger of other small parties to take power...
With Buhari bloc votes of over N11m in the North...
U dont expect Tinubu to displace PMB that has over 11m bloc votes from the North...
There is no path to the presidency for APC without Buhari 11m bloc votes.

And now that Buhari, who he 'merged' with, has sunk us deeper into crisis - is it logical to trust him and the party?.......
Or should we start talking about his health and fitness to rule. We should openly accept another Buhari who would jet out as often and as though Nigeria doesn't exist?

We should have another Buhari where the people would have to literally 'beg' before he speaks to us? We should have another Buhari whose meetings with world leaders might be 'lifeless'?
Come on na. You people know the choice of Tinubu beats logic in all ramifications. For how long would we deceive ourselves?

Lagos State was a capital of Nigeria for 77yrs, most of development was concentrated in Lagos than any state, all the foreign embassies and companies was there, The only functional seaport and International Airport has being there even before Tinubu becomes Governor. The Lagos allocation is double or triple that of Anambra State. The whole 8yrs of Tinubu as a Governor he did not build anything new , he only pointing fingers to achievements of his successors and federal government. Abuja is just 30yrs what other state aside Lagos you can compare in terms of infrastructures.

Nigerians should not believe this man o. It's at their own peril. A man that does what he likes.

Nigerians should be proactive. They should think ahead and consider the consequences of their actions. They should ask themselves, what is the only strenght citizens have over the president after he is elected, which is Voting. They should ask, will subsequent elections under this man be independent, free and fair? Will they be able to change him or reject his candidates if they are not deserving?

Basically, they should ask themselves they will have this singular power they have over government should they elect this man...

This is a man that has consistently denied Lagos of free and fair elections through thuggery and intimidation. This is man that has consistently selected successor in Lagos State and any of them that doesn't comply with his directive are relegated to political oblivion. Hence is arrogance and his inability to grant interviews cause his innate, latent arrogant personality will show. Look around him, it is these same urchins that surround him from MC to Kabaka and they will be like what Sergeant Rogers is to Abacha, to him and their caucus. It's simple reasoning.

Look, Lagos has never been politically independent under this man. Don't expect Nigeria to be. Just imagine what the outcome would have been in Osun State if Tinubu was the president. Nigerians think deep and be wise. Anybody but this man and his party.

Does a former capital collect special money from the Federal government for being a former capital?

You said that Lagos has seaport, yes, but SS has been licensed to build seaports too but nothing to show for it since then.

If you were in Lagos during the military regime, you'll know that what Tinubu did in Lagos was commendable. Oyinlola did not improve Lagos infrastructure. Marwa did a good job but no major infrastructure was also developed. Yes federal government built 3rd mainland and some other bridges, but that stopped in 1992 and Lagos today has a lot of state infrastructure that makes the ones left behind by the federal government so minimal compared to what's available now.

Do you know that Bar Beach overflow used to be a reoccurring event annually? But Lagos state has arrested the situation permanently without federal government intervention because the federal government wasn't even able to solve the problem when they were in Lagos.

Don't let's shy away from the fact that Tinubu did well in Lagos state and also left a good legacy that's why theirs continuity in the state.

Rivers state could be considered as wealthy as Lagos but you won't compare the two state in terms of innovative development. Don't even mention Anambra at all. Because their Obi made a bad investment with state money, lost it and blamed the economy for the loss. But do you know how much Lagos State made from their investment in Econet? They made enough profit even if the business collapsed in Nigeria and sold its shares. Lagos state still made a lot of money.
