If am using vegetable I have a place I collect free if I want. Or I just buy #100 own
Maggi , Crayfish , Salt , Okpeyi , Ogiri , Red oil , Groundnut oil I have them .
I have rice but don’t cook as I don’t regard it as food.
Beans I buy when I feel like eating which isn’t often like 4cups .
I will still have change in my hand .
I take processed plantain in place of garri . ( same way you make your wheat , semovita)
Tomato I buy little #500 if I will cook plantain porridge within the week .
Ice fish I don’t buy but a friend do gift me if it pleases him .

Even with cooked meals battling for space in the fridge and food stuffs freezing up in the freezer, if I'm able to spend that 10K on food and edibles for me and my wife for two complete days, I go dance for market square. If I withdraw that 10K, na 2K fit remain by the end of the day.

God has been really gracious sha!

It works for me because I don't have mouths to feed. Also works that way only if I cook at home.

If I don't, I spend double of that.

I can cook well enough for a man but having home made meals available and being able to eat satisfactorily were two seperate concepts. I just mostly cooked so my homies could always drop in and have a meal or two from my kitchen. Eating out has always been more ideal for me. And I ended up with a wife with the same likeness. Cooking she does is mostly for visiting friends and families. We mostly feed out...and 10K practically runs out in a day or two at most.

3) Rice and bean 3 mudu and garri 6 mudu.

things have changed o. when i was in school 2007 to 2012, things were like 30% the price of things now. and student life na suffer life for those of us not from rich families. 5k was enough for the month. lol

I spend 10k on foodstuffs monthly and it tends to last me and my kid bro for that month . I learnt how to negotiate the prices of food items while growing up from my sweetest mother

Very right. It all depends on your standard of living and the quality of food you eat. I have foodstuffs already at home, so I usually do not have to spend much on cooking. I eat a whole lot, and with quality, I began to ask myself if I was spending too much on food with 10k a week.

When I was still buying food out, I could spend 20k a week because I prefer to eat three different course meals a day. I had to cut down on it thinking I spend too much on food and had to force myself to start cooking meals at home.

10k na like 5days for me.Am single and babeless.i dont cook from Monday to Friday..i eat for work canteen.But I cook on saturdays and sundays.I drink beer every week,esp friday night and Sundays.So 20k weekely.Na God get power.I just met a lady and she doesnt work or do anything.If I date her my Finance go suffer wella.God epp me.
