His daughter was hospitalised around the time United were on a pre-season tour. No sane man will honour one useless club over family. This is the point. The interview was done weeks ago and the fact that Piers Morgan released it now means that Ronaldo must have okayed it. It's a World Cup year and it is obvious he is closing every window at returning to the club. Man is done and his legacies won't be defined by this.
