This is actually another viable suggestion.. wild oriented dogs are also capable of this and they are probably the most plentiful and closest suspects to you.. take note if dogs in your area look like they suddenly gained weight

Interesting things are on Jumia if you search im sure you will see whats called a camera trap.. that will reveal the culprits of you can get one

HAHAHAHAHA! This made me laugh.

Yes, our farm is remotely located 5 min trek to the nearest house and about 7min to the nearest nucleated settlement.

My lawyers recommend I get a licensed gun or leave the vicinity but I'll rather stick to the former
if you consider the solar powered electric fencing I suggested , you can contact me

What I'm trying to say is that it isn't cheap. Like your guy that does it, how much do you think he will charge to fence an acre of land?

Its the hand work of a roaming homeless dog. Had this same encounter in my farm. Thought it was a wild animal until we caught the dog one night and that's the end till date

It's possible. In my former area, I used to always see dead chickens on the street, early in the morning. I thought it was hyenas doing it, cos the place is a new site, close to bush...till I saw a dog attacking and trying to kill a chicken.

he needs to see the farm first before he will know the quotation for materials to give..
materials is the main thing and not labour

We are having this kind of attack second time this month and the pattern of the attack is exactly the same.

Due to farm invasion of our livestocks, we only allow them to graze at night and leave them till daybreak while we let them into their cage.

The first victim of this wild attack was Huda ram, he was sick and want missing, after about the third day, we found him with his head ripped off from the neck, likewise the second goat, brought in for mating about 12 days ago, felt sick, recovering, went to graze and the second day we met him this way.

We are currently working on installing perimeter net for the first part of the land we intend to use for livestock, that's about 3 acres, it separates the farm from the remaining land meant for crop plantation.

Which animal do you think is on the prowl?
Kindly suggest how to capture or kill this animal.

Please did you finally catch the predator? Did you find out which animal it is?

I put poison in some places within the farm and the predator are it then died and stopped coming, I was hearing a foul smell from the section of the jungle but didn't bother to check it out. Too busy with many things.

Boss, You should try and check it out na.

Many wondered what could be the cause, and some suggests that it was diabolical.

Remember, different tales sprang up. Don't you think it would be right to do justice by letting us know.

It has been a while and the foul smell has come and gone, currently trying to shoot the project into operation.

do u live close to your farm...if u do I will suggest u get a guard dog...u can ensure the dog is in its well protected cage at night but its barking will surely wake u and everyone else up if it notices any trespasser

Hyenas and wild dogs start feeding from the most vulnerable parts at the rear end or belly. They also consume all parts including skin and bones since they hunt in packs.
This kill reveals that the predator was acting alone, caught the goat and waited till it was dead before devouring. It also shows that the predator is selective with desirable parts.

Wild cat behaviour.
Interesting takes.
