So those plantains and pineapple and vegetables will stay fresh and last till Christmas day?

Considering exchange rate
50000 is about $70. That is a lot of food
though I acknowledge Nigerians do not earn dollars.

Fifty thousand cannot buy all these items, a bag of rice alone is N47,000 talk less of other items, it's like you a Tinubu .urchin. trying to justify the hardship Nigeria is facing presently.

Nigeria is completely messed up under this buhari led APC government.

So many families will not celebrate this Christmas because of economic hardship, how do you expect the right thinking nigerians to vote for the same party that has impoverished them.

Enough of suffering and smiling, we are all facing the same problems.

This is crime against humanity.
This current inflation is made worse by the Russian/Ukraine war. Oil, wheat, grain, and all the products from those regions have skyrocketed, because most production slowed, and movement of goods are hard in warfare.

Lucky you.
What you bought for 50k is worth more than 200k here in the EAST. The prices of food items is beyond the reach of a comon IGBO man. Most people here no longer afford to eat. Only few eat ones a day.

Maybe you go like carry gun too force people to pay 200k for those.

Economy bad no be say make you no use sense drop talk boss.

must everybody live in Lagos? Cost of living differs from one state to another and this happens everywhere in the whole world. So there is no need being a doubting Thomas.

Is there any year people don't complain? Go to pubs at night - filled, restaurants at lunchtime - filled, markets - filled, no parking spaces, roads -more cars on the road and more buildings springing up. I believe there are a lot of things to be proud and happy for. In all sincerity, more money passed through my hands this year than ever before. I kept complaining till I properly evaluated my life. Indiscipline and greed is ruining us not the government.

My opinion anyways. The price system in Nigeria is one which even the Economic gurus would have a hard time understanding, talk more of fixing it.
