My God!!! This can be dandruff. Why did u have to wait this long.

Why not keep his hair low? Cut it everyday and allow the scalp to breathe. If washing his head makes him react, use warm damp cloth to wipe it daily. Dandruff would not thrive where there's no hair covering the scalp. At least keep his head clean and not what you have displayed here.

Have u changed his diet?? Try place him on plant based diets. No cow, no pig meat , just little amount of white meat. No carbonated or refined drinks and foods... Strictly on organic diets..Do this and watch things change for good... Issues of this nature are basically from bad guts .. Drugs would only make things worse internally...

Your boy reminded me of my elder bro, we almost lost him to this.

The stuff was there till secondary school level if I could remember well. It was a painful experience for him, my mum shaved and shaved and apply all those prescriptions and other drugs too.
