We are now scared of washing and applying anything on his head because he will complain of tasting whatever we put on his head in his mouth and he will start having reactions. It's almost as if the skin on his scalp no longer protects him from outside soaps and other ingredients.

The moment he washes his head, his lips and tongue will swell up and he will start having reactions. My once active and lovely boy is now a shadow of himself. He's refusing to play, always complaining of tiredness and pains.

This look like a spiritual attack on this kid. Try prayers too join us at nsppd every morning and see the change you desire

He is allergic to some foods or drinks.
Try hard to identify those food, drinks, cream clothes etc

Atleast clean the head properly before applying it in northern part of nigeria we mix the honey with something different before applying i will confirm and get back 2 u by 2morrow insha Allah(by God grace)

Please ooo let ant not goan eat out the poor boys brain because of sweet o.. How long the honey should stay should be said... And maybe they can consider the local way of treating the scalp problem babies use to have, called ila.

This may have started as dandruff but appear to have progressed further than Dandruff.

Get damatol soap and damatol hair cream.
Wash, pply the cream and brush gently!
Do it three times daily..

Do this even when visiting the damatologist

Try that salt that he recommended. Salt is very medicinal and it takes care of stubborn cases like this. I've used salts for a lot of stubborn stuff

if it's fungal infection buy criseofulvin tablets,
break the tablet into 2 and give him half daily,

You should have posted this when it’s not up to half of this. I had dandruff since my primary school till now and I’m using OKIN SOAP to fight it.

OKIN soap will take care of it and it’s still cheaper than these ones you mentioned.

Use ketoconazole tablet and doxycycline with ampiclox and be applying ketoconazole cream on his head it has happened to me before the doctor said it's an infection

When people say they've tried hospital without solution, the next step is not to send them to Winners chapel. Ask critical questions. What Hospital has he been to? You certainly can't patronise a health centre with a general physician and conclude that you've been to the "hospital".

My elder brother has a very rough head when we were small because he play too much and he tumble himself in dirty sands and he don't wash it off properly that's why he contracted this stubborn dandruff, ringworm and hair infection, his mates make mockery of him we even nicknamed him ishi Akpikpa ,,meaning in English leprosy hair , one day my mother bought gwogwonishe if u are igbo and yoruba u will know what am talking about, she barb him and use razor to scrubs everything off and applied that gwogwonishe.. my brother faint like 20 times it heals in less than 2days , and gwogwonishe the kind strong thing dey use produce that thing I no understand..
